20-25% of the characters I see on TV and movies are gay - hence it must be the same proportion in the population - right?

Also the gay characters are the most noble, wise, honest and in every way the very best people - this must be true elsewhere - right?

There are no gays, only homosexuals.

And they are most certainly not gay.

And they have no more money than any other demographic.

Probably even less, since they spend so much of it on psychiatrists, drugs, booze and medications.

“... 20-25% of the characters I see on TV and movies are gay”.

Ding, ding, ding, ding... we have a winner. You are absolutely right. Television shows and movies somewhat started slow with the introduction of gay characters. However, many, many shows now have a steady gay (or lesbian) character. You are right.. they are always funny, loyal, kind etc... Hollywood/New York portrays them as “folks you would love to live next door to”.

How nice it was to come of age in the 1950s and early 1960s when the homosexuals were firmly in the closet, where they belonged. At the time I did not realize how good it was for me to grow up in such an environment.

This could be a sign that the narrative is about to change — that it’s no longer beneficial to homosexual activists (or the rest of the Left) for normal folks to believe that homosexuals are as ubiquitous as they’ve spent the past three decades trying to appear.

They are a very small percentage, but are organized, insistent, loud, narcissistic and as they don’t have to support kids or pass wealth to future generations, have money available to fund their pressure group , plus buy politicians.

If they weren’t in my face demanding attention and favors, I would admire the fact a lot of them are creative, focused on success, artistic and good money makers. I do not like that some of them a predators on youths and try to recruit them into the homosexual/lesbian life.

I used to watch “House Hunters” on tv. No more, about every third or forth couple are queers. They want me to believe that’s the norm. All it really makes me believe is, I believe I’ll watch another channel.

If alot of people who support them really thought about what they do when they have sex they might have second thoughts about it. They are walking BUG incubators.

I have noticed that, too. Use to be a great show... couples or singles finding a home. I have seen the “new” couples as two gals or two guys. The guys are the “lisping, weak wristed ones”, too. HGTV, IMHO, has always had a large % of gays. If you think about it, five or ten years back... you could name the shows with them. Now you have to think about what shows DON’T have them.

It's not really amazing. A small but well organized group of people can start a revolution - and often win.

Those groups of people today are called "parties," but it doesn't mean that the group must be large. The group has to appear large, though - either by numbers, or by political influence, or by strength of its weapons - or by acceptance (if not by support) of large segments of population.

Ultimately, those LGBT issues only serve as a platform on which new politicians can stand and proclaim that they are there to defend interests of this here oppressed minority. The society then immediately soils its collective pants and gives that politician all the power that he asks for, only to avoid the accusation of that ultimate, unspeakable sin of not being politically correct (or democratic, or tolerant, or whatever the word of the day is.)

It's not just them, but also the lefties who have sided with them, that give them their clout.

I miss the days when it was illegal to be homosexual. I figure it is only a matter of time before TV shows that 10% of the population practices necrophilia, and ALL of them are witty, wise, and kind.

I had joked to my wife in the past that HGTV was ESPN for gay men....apparently I wasn’t that far off....

YES!!!

I used to enjoy both HGTV, DIY, etc. Now I very, very rarely watch them...they’ve been invaded by “life partners”.

Whoever lets their children watch “Glee” is helping the Sodomites spread their propaganda to the next generation.
