Have you heard of SWATing?
Someone calls 911 falsely claiming that a person has killed someone or is about to do so. It can bring down a world of hurt, complete with sirens and a SWAT team with drawn guns.
In a radio interview on the Hugh Hewitt Show, conservative Web entrepreneur Andrew Breitbart began warning people about the tactic shortly before he collapsed and died on March 1. No, Im not suggesting his death had anything to do with this, however convenient it was for the political Left.
Over the past year, strong-arm tactics have been used against prominent conservative bloggers who have written about a leftwing activist named Brett Kimberlin.
Mr. Kimberlin was convicted in a series of 1978 bombings in Speedway, Indiana, the last of which critically injured a Vietnam veteran who later committed suicide. An accomplished jailhouse lawyer, Kimberlin was released on parole in 1993, re-jailed and finally released in 2001. He went on to found the Velvet Revolution website and the Justice Through Music Project, which receives money from heavy leftist hitters like the George Soros-controlled Tides Foundation.
In October 2010, Los Angeles Assistant District Attorney Patrick Frey, who blogs as Patterico, began writing about the Speedway Bombers leftwing activities. On July 1, 2011, Mr. Frey was awakened at 12:35 a.m. by a SWAT team at his Los Angeles home.
The call that sent deputies to my home was a hoax, Mr. Frey writes. Someone had pretended to be me. They called the police to say I had shot my wife. The sheriffs deputies who arrived at my front door believed they were about to confront an armed man who had just shot his wife. Mr. Frey was handcuffed and his frightened wife and children led outside by police.

Emphatically confident were we, in the conventions, institutions of our government to provide for us a world in which all men are created equal endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, divinely inspired, Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness
Beliefs, convictions once unwaveringly instilled into my very soul, now gnaw from within filling me with doubt, insecurity, worry, concern for the future of my dear beloved country, the principles, institutions that had once made America the greatest ever as the very envy of the world.
I fear for our future, as those presenting themselves as saviors are but mere nihilists who spare no opportunity to destroy, annihilate, eviscerate, all in the name of good intentions but not a modicum of any among them to be found.
My biggest fear, that all the King's horsemen and all the King's men, are bent on destruction where it can never be put back together again.
And none of the officers at the scene stopped to go, "Wait, what?" upon noticing the wife was alive and well and everyone was confused and terrified.
The reason cops try to join SWAT teams is for visceral joy most of them get carrying out these raids. This is the kick these street gangs called cops get. They aren’t interested in stopping the action any sooner than absolutely necessary
I know.
It’s just ahrd to believe that they didn’t stop and think about it.
“Our briefing says he shot his wife, yet she’s unhurt and everyone is confused. Let’s think about this.” that’s what should have happened before they started cuffing people or yanking them outside.
Those making false charges need to do serious jail time.
....before “someone” gets hurt!
It occurs to me that Mr. Kimberlin has an address. He undoubtedly goes shopping, recreates somewhere, and just generally isn’t invisible.
I’m just sayin’.
If the cops gave a damn about tracing the false leads, they could do it.
If it happened to a liberal they would!
Shall we assume the racists and haters at Southern Poverty Law Center, Holder's team, and the MSM have absolutely no interest in this man's antics? If it was a guy on the right, they damn well would be on it...
