Delta is worse than NWA was.

Republic Airlines was about the Zenith (My RA frequent flyer number continues).

When I was a child, 1950s, a neighbor was a C&S pilot, later taken in by Delta...It use to be Delta C&S Airline.
Sadly, all US carriers are pathetic, none with more then a 3 out of 5 stars.
My last 4 flights have been on Qatar, a 5 star airline.
Middle east countries have 2 or 3 of the very select class
of five star airlines.

My last Delta flight, Paris to Atlanta (2004) was poor.
The stew was taking drink orders and the guy behind me asked for a Coke. She said that will be $2.
When she got to me, I said I had never heard of an international flight charging for ANY drinks, not even alcohol.
She snapped back at me “WELL, we are just trying keep from going bankrupt”.
That was my last US carrier flight.
All of my US/ Euro flights were KLM, Memphis/Amsterdam, when it was partnered with the now defunct NWA.

Eh? They exist as a sort of an outsourcer for Frontier and US Airways. How do you have a FF number with them?

The FF # more or less remained the same through the mergers.

Now that the TSA is a gatekeeper/groper and I've gone virtual Galt, I don't fly much now.

(Bummer - no more "club" memberships).

Yeah I learned that at some airport out West.

My FF # is now with Delta (little that I fly them). SWA (sometimes Alaska) is the airline of choice these daze.
