my scout troop is “sponsored” by a catholic church... in quotes because we get no monetary support, but a place and identity.
the BSA offers no monetary support, but an identity of which if it were to change the identity to something the troop could not identify with, then we would become our own entity.
we treat others like we want to be treated...
sexuality has not entered our tents.
But do not doubt for an instant that there are powerful people working every day to insert their diseased sexuality into any and all organizations where they are not curently "affirmed" and "celebrated". They are wealthy and influential and many good men will be sorely tempted to accomodate them. Stay vigilant.
