I got 5-10 calls a night during the Tuffy- James White primary. I wanted to slap both of them.

Could you please explain what in Hell the Texas Republicans think they’re doing supporting illegal immigration? The following thread is generating a lot of comments, and few are positive.

I take STRONG exception to that characterization! I think the platform is, over all, stronger on that issue!

You can read it for yourself and decide at the link below.

So is lone star and Monorprise correct about the re-redistricting and Straus working to bounce conservatives and his working with Dems to do it?

I must tell you however that his little plan didn’t work all that well! He lost several of his RINO committee chairs on election day and two more are in run offs and will loose there!

Of course, in Louie Gohmert country, Tyler, Texas. Pure Natual Born Texan. Thanks for asking.

In a previous life I had the flag up and somehow it got me on a gigantic and prolific ping list which proved enduring despite attempts to curtail. Would love to post the Lone Star flag of the Great State and Republic of Texas, just don’t care to involunteerarily rejoin that ping list.

I love it Straus is the biggest RINO in the House. His vote would be for anything but conservative!

Talked to MQS and he said he is backing Bryan Hughes for Speaker. That was good enough for me! MQS=Michael Quinn Sullivan of Empower Texans.

Strauss is a RINO who has worked to oust conservatives through redistricting because his career is much more important that the future of Texas. He has a proven track record of giving away the store to the Dims just to stay in power. He embodies everything that is wrong in Texas politics. Notice his choice for Border & Intergovernmental Affairs Chair (second link). A Dim in charge of the border.

Joe Straus is a despicable liberal and traitor. He must be voted out and expelled from the GOP. I support ANY effort to humiliate or exclude him from the Convention.

Go to your profile page where you select the flag. It gives you the option to be notified when new messages are posted on the Texas page. Turn that off and it should eliminate that type ping. If all else fails just post a Texas flag in the comment section of your home page.

I completely agree with you and would suggest that David Dewhurst's leadership of the Texas senate hasn't been much better.

Yep he lost Rob Eissler, Vicki Truitt, Mike “Tuffy” Hamilton with runoffs being held for Sid Miller and Chuck Hopson.

Talked with representative Eissler yesterday at the convention and can tell you that he is VERY aware of THE reason for his defeat but doubt that he would say so publically.

Only 5-10? You were lucky!

I always vote first day of early voting and it really bugs me to get all those calls. I think they have a negative affect.

I supported White and when Tuffy went negative I think it scared the White people.

I "loved" it when Tuffy accused White of moving to Hardin co. to run for office when that is exactly what Tuffy did.

It seems to me that they’ve been co-opted by the hispanic caucus and, maybe GW had something to do with it.

Absurd!!!!!!!!!!

When you don't know what you're talking about, best to keep your dumb opinions to yourself.

I thought White lived in Tyler County. Did he relocate?
