The story leaves much to be desired. Why did they impound the ammunition? It is not illegal to store ammunition in your home. Many citizens have much more stored than the amounts listed here. I know target shooters who have three times as many rounds in their house.

5000 rounds of 38 super. That seals the deal it was bound for sonora ....:o)

Or my old nickle plated 1911A1 el presidente in the same caliber.

Agree on the numbers. Pretty much a six month loadout for a regular 3 gun and IDPA shooter.

32,000 rounds TOTAL of several calibers amounts to nothing for a cartel.

Seriously, I have more than 32K in ONE caliber.

One thousand rounds of 10mm? Ha! Must not shoot that one much.

Of course the average idiot only keeps about 3 boxes of 20 in his home, so 32,000 rounds sounds like a huge number.

More 'Fast and Furious' psyops crap from the evil government.

I guess Holder told the DEA to stop the next shipment to the Cartels and they are trying to turn it into a positive news event for the MSM.

I’m with you. Ammo is not illegal. On what grounds did they seize the ammo?

32K rounds? No big deal.

That's just a warning burst on this....

So?

“It is not illegal to store ammunition in your home.”
You may wish to check the city ordinances.

Two bricks of 22s make 1K rounds. That is 64 bricks of 22LR.

Yes I know that 7.62 (prolly x39) are bigger but just sayin’
