Bad news.

Based on Romney’s record of appointing judges in Massachusetts, he will, most likely, appoint “conservatives” like David Souter or “strict constructionists” like Harriet Miers. Or worse. Romney did much worse in the Massachusetts.

If I were not already voting against Obama, this would not convince me to vote for Romney.

But Harriet Miers never made it to the court due to the hue & cry from conservatives. We stopped a bad appointment, & can stop another one. At least with Romney & a conservative senate, we’d be able to force a better candidate. Hopefully Heritage Fdn has a good list of legal minds who believe in Original Intent that we can work from.

I feel the same way. It is my blind hatred for Obama that will force me to vote for Romney. I don’t expect he will really be much different than Obama. If he wins, I doubt he will be re-elected in 2016. Perhaps by then we will have a conservative candidate to vote for.
