Biden Insulted by Suggestion Anyone in His Family Ever Did Real Work

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Did you hear what Biden said? Real Clear Politics has this. And I don't know when Biden said this. It's recently. Biden said, "My dad never worked in a Food Fair. My dad never wore a blue collar, Barack makes me sound like I just climbed out of a mine in Scranton, Pennsylvania carrying a lunch bucket." That was Biden speaking at a conference with US mayors in Orlando. I think it was last week. He said, "No one in my family worked in a factory." Biden's ticked off because apparently Obama runs around and tells everybody what a blue-collar guy his vice president is.

Biden Say's He's Not Blue Collar: "No One in my Family Worked in a Factory"

Obama tells everybody his vice president is a blue-collar guy, and for some reason this offended Biden. "My dad never worked in a Food Fair. My dad never wore a blue collar. Barack makes me sound like I just climbed out of a mine in Scranton carrying a bunch bucket. No one in my family worked in a factory." Now, why would Biden say this? Why do rats jump off sinking ships? It's 'cause they know the ship is sinking. I can't find a plausible explanation for why Biden... he sounds really ticked off. He's insulted by being called blue collar, a Democrat. That's supposed to be a badge of honor to be blue collar. Your roots to blue-collar status, the Democrat Party, are what qualify you to be a Democrat. Here's Biden: "My dad never worked at a Food Fair. My dad never wore a blue collar. Barack makes me sound like I just climbed out of a mine in Scranton, Pennsylvania, carrying a lunch bucket. Nobody in my family worked at a factory." Man.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: You know, I can't get over this. Joe Biden disgusted and insulted at the thought that anybody might think that anybody in his family ever did any real work. Joe Biden is so insulted that Obama says his family's blue-collar, that he has to go out and defend his family's honor to a US conference of mayors by pointing out: (imitating Biden) "My family never did any real work. My family never worked in a mall. My family never worked in a mine. My family was never blue-collar. My family never worked in a factory."

Biden's gotta be confused, 'cause, remember, he said Obama's different. He's clean; he's articulate. No, Biden's family didn't work at 7-Eleven, 'cause you have to speak Indian to work at a 7-Eleven, and Biden's family doesn't speak Indian. It's what Biden said. Seriously, you Democrats, you union people, the vice president is acting insulted and disgusted that anybody would think that anybody in his family ever did any real work.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: We have the Joe Biden audio. It was from last Friday in Orlando, the 2012 annual meeting the US Conference of Mayors.

BIDEN: My dad never worked in a Food Fair. My dad never wore a blue collar. Barack makes me sound like I just climbed out of a mine in Scranton, Pennsylvania, carrying a lunch bucket. No one in my family worked in a factory!

RUSH: Well, there you have it. (impression) "So don't anybody in this room, don't any of you think my family ever did any real work. My family never worked in a factory, carried a lunch bucket, or worked in a mine or a Food Fair. Blue-collar? No! Not in my family." What are Richard Trumka and all these union thug leaders gonna do when they hear about this?

Joe will be happy to learn that I never thought he or any of his family ever did a day’s work in their entire lives.

"Joe Biden Sr. then did better as a used car salesman, and the family's circumstances were middle class.[10][11][12]"

Well, that explains alot.

Biden is no Dick Cheney.

This stupid outburst by our Vice President, Joe ‘Gaff-A-Minute’ Biden is the epitome of irony. Biden, (an attorney by trade) spends most of his very comfortable life dropping his ‘G’s”, rolling up the sleeves on his $200. hand-tailored dress shirt, putting on a baseball cap and pretending to be a ‘working class guy’ in front of gullible audiences but when Obama actually takes him up on it, Biden is offended. I love it!

Folks who consider themselves “upper class” in the mining camps would take pride in the fact niether they noe any of their family ever worked in the mines or that they were “ management”. Biden’s family likely fit into that class. “Heavens! You can’t think I ever soiled my hands!”. I can hear Slo Joe now.

YouTube of Biden quote:

Biden Say's He's Not Blue Collar: "No One in my Family Worked in a Factory"

It's even worse when you hear it. He sounds positively disgusted at the idea that he could be related to someone who worked hard for a living.

Biden is just complying with the Court of Public Opinion where he lost the case he'd perennially put forth as the “common working man's” son, which eventually proved that his father was not a factory worker, but a bureaucrat. Nor did he suffer the plaints and pleas of a common working man's son?

I guess that, coupled with his ‘guilty plea’ of plagiarism somewhere down the line has made “Plugs” a little skittish, that's all. Although, I might say that it is extremely rare to find a scumbag, lying Democrat who'd sell his mother into slavery become apprehensive about perpetuating their erstwhile lies of yore....

My greatgrandfather, my grandfather, my Dad, my uncles, all carried lunchbuckets.

Coal miners, boiler operators, welders, machinists, and oilfield roughnecks. Hardworking, decent honorable men who provided for their families. My Dad left the oil fields on December 8th 1941 & joined the Army & would retire as a full colonel. Which enabled me to go to college & follow his footsteps. I was a wage earner/reservist when I retired last year. Wore safety workboots the last day I worked.

When I think of their contributions to the real bedrock of our society I am so proud I could burst. Just what in the h#!! is Biden’s problem with the working class, Democrat hypocrisy aside? I just don’t understand his disdain.

If somebody was saying something about me that wasn’t true, I wouldn’t be happy either, even if it ostensibly made me sound awesome.
Imagine if somebody went around telling all and sundry that you were an ex Navy SEAL or a Nobel prize winning brain surgeon, when the truth was finally revealed, you would be held at least partly responsible for what had been said and damned mightily for it...
