Wow! It would be hard to find truer words! This has been my experience as well.
Other children BEGGED me to homeschool them. Their parents abandoned them to all the social and educational pathology found in the government schools.

Exactly. I have heard parents say that the videos and the video games are to keep the kids quiet. Apparently, they do not see time spent in conversation with their children as bonding and learning experience.

I didn’t see this mentioned in any of the 107 posts. During the torment by these animals, one of them said something to the effect that she shouldn’t have a family, that they should kill themselves. Turns out that one of the lady’s son’s did just that. About ten years ago, he killed himself. Wonder how those animals would feel after hearing that bit of news.
Ms Klein doesn’t want any legal action taken against these animals. Fine, that’s her right. However, if one of those animals were mine, there would be action taken. A severe beating telling him before hand why he was getting beaten. Then, have him stand on a hot, busy street corner for a month of weekends wearing a sign telling everyone that passes by why he is there. Tell the animal that if anyone in the future does it to his mother, tell him it’s karma for having done it to Ms Klein. Then, have him make a VERY public apology to Ms Klein.

We need to take control of the curricula again—back to traditional Classical education which includes rhetoric and logic and Good Books. Ha. Only have the word “Savage” because of Michael Savage. His radio program woke me up from my Democrat Zombie stupor —of believing the MSM and believing “Good is Evil” and “Evil is Good”. I was pro-choice and I thought—a pretty good Catholic (in the Kennedy sense). SO—since I have climbed out of Plato’s cave-—and seen the Light—it is amazing the amount of Knowledge that is out there-—from even THOUSANDS of years ago.
(I did have a Catholic education—with Latin and the Classics. I just never really absorbed the deeper meaning of it until after Savage. I couldn’t connect all the dots until I studied Cicero and Aristotle’s Ethics).
Since then, I have read and studied the Ancient Greeks, Cicero, The Founders—reading tons of biographies—and Witness by Whittaker Chambers, etc. etc. The real eye opener was “The Closing of the American Mind” by Bloom. William F. Buckley, Jr. enlightened me, also, as did Solzhenitsyn.
Even Machiavelli stated that Virtue was necessary in the military if one is to retain power-—of course, we see why Sodomy is now promoted and celebrated in our Military-—as if Vice can be promoted in a government of Rule of Law-—which has to promote Justice (Virtue).

The best way is to shut down the compulsory government schools. They have been a socialist-entitlement from the beginning. Socialism can not be reformed.
Solution: Begin the process of total privatization of K-12 schooling.
Goal: Complete separation of school and state.

I talked to my son today who lives in Rochester, where Greece is near.
Apparently, the guy who started this wanted to raise $5,000 to send her on a week vacation. At the end of THREE hours, they had over $10,000 and as of now, within 48 hours, they’re up to $500,000!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of the kid’s dads called in on a talk show about it. He said he was a cop and that if someone had told him that his kid had done something like that, that he would not have believed it because he wasn’t raised that way and doesn’t behave that way around them.
But he saw the video and his son and now he said, his decision is whether to beat him with his fist or his foot.
My son also reports that this sort of behavior is the tip of the iceberg according to the report of another bus monitor in the area. I would not be surprised to find this sort of thing fairly widespread. But unless some kid decides to post a you tube clip of it, I doubt anyone would find out. The school districts certainly aren’t going to post what their surveillance cameras catch.
On another thread, a Freeper suggested on-line video streaming of all government school classrooms. I think parents would be shock at the behavior allowed and the content of the courses ( or NON-content).
