Morgan Freeman: 'We're In a Lot of Trouble If We Don't Reelect Obama'
newsbusters ^ | June 20th, 2012 | Noel Sheppard

Posted on 06/20/2012 5:25:26 PM PDT by Mozilla

Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman said Tuesday, "We’re going to be in a lot of trouble if we don't reelect" Barack Obama.

Appearing on PBS's Tavis Smiley show, Freeman added, "Because people on the other side of the fence scare me"

I guess Freeman forgot that he said last September Obama's made racism "worse."

Of course, he also said the Tea Party is going to do "whatever [it] can to get this black man outta here."

Exit question: If Obama's doing such a great job in Freeman's view, what does he think about black unemployment at 12.3 percent?

“Racism has nothing to do with getting him out of the White House.”

But, it has everything to do with M F keeping him there.

I have disregarded the opinions of actors since I was scarcely an adult half a century ago.

For the life of me, I can’t understand why anyone would particularly care what an actor thought.

Or a musician or taxi-driver. They’re always asking taxi-drivers...

But actors? Sheesh. They make a living playing pretend.

I must disagree here. Freeman is always the same character—all he does is memorize lines written by someone else to make him sound deep and philosophical.

I think his movie persona is completely artificial.

I really don’t think racism is much involved. Most of the white folks in those categories are liberal idiots too.

There's a difference. Most of those whites would have no qualms about ditching Obama if he stopped catering to them or someone even more liberal came along. Not so with a lot of these entertainers/sportsmen. Some have even said race is the reason they voted for him. Why are we hesitant to call them racists?

Who seriously cares about the opinion of a man who pretends to be other people for a living? When did the people of this country start giving a flying F about the opinions of actors and singers? Because these people can “pretend” they are so great and knowledgeable?

Actors and actresses doth think way too much of themselves.

I have to arise to the defense of cab drivers. I love to have extensive discussions with Chicago cab drivers and do so about thirty times a year. I have discussed religion, history, local and national issues.

They are independent and entrepreneur types even when non-owners of their medallion.

It is amazing what substance is covered. Many remember me and great me like an old friend after months of not seeing me.

"We’re going to be in a lot of trouble if we don't reelect" Barack Obama.
And we'll be in a whole lot more trouble if we do.

Agreed.

Nearly anyone could do what Freeman, or any actor, does.

Sainted Robert DeNiro is just playing himself, an Italian New Yorker. Film my Uncle Mike acting naturally, and you’ve got DeNiro.

Didn’t he have an affair with his step granddaughter? Not a nice person IMHO.

I figure this guy has been in Hollywood too long and he is brainwashed. He also is probably forced into saying things to keep his job. Bit I am sure he believe everything he says because his a mindless robot. Morgan freeman’s true colors are outed.

Yeah I am going to never seen any film with Morgan Freeman again. He made it clear he plays the race card.

Ah these lazy Hollyweird Libtards. Because they can read a movie script think they know what’s best for the rest of us who actually work for a living.

Boycott Liberal stupidity, boycott Morgan Freeman.

What kind of trouble, Morgan? The race riot kind of trouble? Bring it. About 100 million of us have been getting ready for that the past three and half years and it’s past time to tear the band aid off that scab.

Amen!!!
I begrudge them even a tenth of a penny that my inadvertent purchase of a sponsored product may have earned the commies in Hollyweird.
