President Barack Obama's endorsement of gay marriage appears to have made Americans on both sides of the issue even more entrenched in their positions, firing up his young, liberal backers and intensifying opposition from Republicans and conservatives, according to a new poll.
Overall, his announcement last month that he supported gay marriage did little to shift the nation's views on the subject, with the country remaining evenly divided on it, the Associated Press-GfK survey found.

To add fuel to the fire...he and the staff figured that black churches would just go along with this. The problem is that they’ve been citing Bible references for their position....for decades. To suddenly jump up and say they are for gay marriage and the President’s position....the ministers and their congregations can’t find this as an agreeable position.

Calling Obama gay doesn’t make him anymore likable, it just makes him more queer, if that is possible.
That's because when the pollster calls, somewhere between 5 and 15% of the respondantes don't want the pollster to think they are homophobic.
In the voting booth, when no one is watching them it's a different story.
Look at this poll, 1007 adults. We have no idea whether these people even have a clue,and most likely don’t even vote.
That's because you don't understand "liberal" math - if they are on the wrong side, the fact that someone is on their side automatically makes it 50-50 because both sides are represented.
I wonder when he is going to come out of the closet on his sexual orientation. The mainstream media has been screaming it at us, but everyone is pretending he isn’t gay.
