Where is Romney? Why hasn't he made a statement yet?
Good...he had to get this right and be on the record.
He is going to be the next President of the United States. That was also decided today by the Supreme Court. Caveat: As long as he continues to handle this correctly and ensure that all the voters understand this tax hit on them and on the economy.
Whether he becomes a successful President will now depend on what he does on day one to fulfill his promise.

I don’t think we can mandate any profession from being excluded from the court.
You’re right but I get more and more excited about a Romney presidency. I think even his supporters will be pleasantly surprised.

Of course they could always change this, but Americans living and working overseas, if they are outside the continental United States, they can get an exemption and do not have to pay for the insurance under individual mandate. Watch hundreds if not thousands of Americans nearing retirement, (or not for that matter) to be looking for safe haven overseas with jobs or retirement, to exempt themselves from the requirement, and the requisite penalities by the government for not having said Obama Insurance.

I thought the ObamaCare bill originated in the Senate. If it is now deemed to be a tax, then how can it stand procedurally, if all revenue bills must originate in the House?

I agree. Romney wasn’t my choice in the primaries, not by a long shot, but now it’s either him or Hussein, and I will never vote for that POS currently occupying the White House. At least Congress could oppose Romney when necessary without wetting their pants for fear of being called “rayciss”.
