I agree, sadly. I've listened to /read articles by dozens of conservative pundits and lawyers today... I don't see any "silver lining", nor do I think Roberts is a "genius".
Robets just made life a whole lot more difficult for millions of Americans. I wonder if he's even aware of the consequences of his Big Decision today.
I'm worried about that as well. Those happy, chirpy healthcare.gov commercials were all over various networks today. "Perfect" timing... :-(
Nice use of OUR tax dollars, huh?
RIP Freedom July 4, 1776 - June 28, 2012
Freedom actually died on Jan. 20, 2009....we are just realizing it now. It died from a bad case of progressiveism that infected it on March 4, 1913 when Woodrow Wilson became President. It’s been a long slow, agonizing death and if finally succumed when that mother f***er B. Hussien 0bamam became President.
Thank you blacks, bispanics and young people. I hope you suffer the most in the coming tyranny.
The more I look at it, the more I realize that this piece of shit legislation is utterly unsustainable, whether ostensibly Constitutional or not.
Peter Schiff's analysis is spot on, IMHO:

This piece of crap legislation is such a clusterf--k and is going to screw things up to such a degree, that in 2016, Sarah Palin will rise like phoenix from the ashes of her alleged political demise, and win the Presidency in a landslide.
In light of this USSC decision, if 0bama wins re-election, he will preside over the actual horrific ramifications of his abominable law (the ACA), and the backlash will be monumental.
And, if Romney wins, the perceived ramifications of this unsustainable Tyrannical abomination will force Congress and the President to act, via a total repeal and readdressing of the issue.
Eventually, this theory of taxation will be fully repudiated, once actual citizens are put through actual hardship as the law becomes implemented.
There will be a lot of pain in the meanwhile, but when the pendulum swings back in the other direction, I believe the consequences will be decisively positive for the Republic.
Either that, or a totally legitimate and necessary Revolution will be occur. If not at the ballot box, then the cartridge box will have to suffice.
