Mitt Romney's presidential campaign has raised $4.2 million since the Supreme Court ruled the healthcare reform legislation constitutional, his press secretary reported in a tweet on Friday morning.

Romney responded to the ruling by renewing his pledge to repeal the Affordable Care Act known as "Obamacare."

He wrote in a fundraising email to supporters on Thursday: "Today, the Supreme Court upheld Obamacare. But regardless of what the Court said about the constitutionality of the law, Obamacare is bad medicine, it is bad policy, and when I’m President, the bad news of Obamacare will be over."

The Supreme Court's ruling was a clear win for President Obama, who counts the healthcare bill as a signature achievement of his first term. But Romney and other Republicans made clear they would not give up the fight to repeal what they call a government takeover of healthcare.

Romney's campaign had raised $2.5 million by 1:33 p.m. Thursday.

It is a trick to fill campaign coffers. The GOP elites on a good day will tinker with the ACA. Figure out who the Tea Party is endorsing in your local Congressional and state-wide Senate races. Send money to them. No such candidates you can vote for? Then send money to Tea Party backed candidates in other regions. Never send money to the RNC. RNC is happy to give money to anyone with an (R) on the ballot line, regardless of their political philosophy.

Do you often post to yourself, calling the poster a troll and asking how much they’re paid? Classic.

"Boils down to, who would you prefer, Romney or Obama, right now, Obama has to be gotten rid of, at least Romney can be worked with and held to account by a gop senate and gop house, Obama let loose with 4 more years of unchecked laws and no re-election to hold him back will be more painful than any of us can imagine."
EXACTLY!! This is a little too long for a bumper sticker :) but a great reason to vote for Romney.
To me it boils down to this: if I had to trust Romney based on his record, I wouldn't trust him at all.

But it's not about his record anymore, it's about his intelligence. Is he smart enough to see that he has an opportunity to become a Super Hero to a majority of the American people?

All he has to do is the obvious -- kill MengeleCare, reign in the anti-growth EPA, lower taxes, cut spending -- and he becomes a Great American Hero.

I don't think Romney's stupid. I think he's going to go for the gold. Not so much out of principle, but for the glory.

I do believe Romney is in it for the glory, and the glory is there for the taking, and you'd have to be mentally retarded not to see the route to that glory and Romney is, if nothing else, intelligent.

I object because they use the ruling as a prop. they want money so they can get in office to over turn the ACA. In fact they have no plausible plan for over turning the ACA.

No, I’ll be standing by my conscience and God.

I rather doubt that; being a "good german" doesn't usually cut it.

You don't know me. I've traveled all over the world as God has led. I have to stand before him on judgement day. You have no idea what I've been through in my life and given up for God. Spare me your Romney shill.
