RomneyCare by the Numbers
repeal-romneycare.com ^

Posted on 07/02/2012 4:17:00 PM PDT by SoConPubbie

-According to the Beacon Hill Institute the RomneyCare plan has increased total health insurance costs by $4.3 Billion.

-The Kiaser Family Foundation recently found that Massachusetts health insurance premiums are now the highest in the nation. This has come about since the passage of RomneyCare.

-Since the passage of RomneyCare, healthcare costs paid by the state have risen until they now account for 40% of the state budget.

-According to current projections, the average median-income family will be expected to pay nearly a third of its income toward health insurance premiums by 2016.

-According to the Pioneer Institute, total spending on Uncompensated Care and Commonwealth Care has increased by 38% since the passage of RomneyCare.

-Since 2004, the average annual premium for non-group insurance nationally increased from $4,424 to $6,328 in 2009. The Massachusetts Average increased from $10,126 to 13,288 in 2009, spiking up to nearly $17,000 in 2007. RomneyCare was passed in 2006 with the partial purpose of addressing the fact that Massachusetts residents paid so much more than the rest of the country for health insurance.

-Since the passage of RomneyCare the percentage of residents with difficulty paying off their medical bills has remained essentially unchanged. Why are we paying so much more for the same results?

-According to the Beacon Hill Institute, RomneyCare is responsible for nearly 18,500 lost jobs since its passage.

-Since the passage of RomneyCare the average cost of individual coverage has increased by more than 36%

-Since the passage of RomneyCare there has been no significant reduction in Commonwealth Care administrative costs as was promised.

-Since its passage, RomneyCare has cost the Massachusetts economy $29 Million in annual private investment.

“mittbot? WOW, sorry but that single post speaks volumes. I’m doing my best to silence who and how? Then the next sentance you tell me to stay out of a thread.

BTW ... Give me an example of when I supported mittens or didn’t support free speech.”

Keep it straight Mittbot, it was YOU who came into this thread asking for the entire thread to STFU. I was merely asking you to take YOUR OWN ADVICE. What other purpose is there than to come into an honest thread and suggest that everyone speaking the truth about Mittens is “voting for O”? It’s to silence people. Mind you, you weren’t the worst one.

Everyone who abstains or votes for someone other than the GOP nominee, that’s who. They can lie all they want, but anyone with a mind understands that an abstention or vote for a protest candidate negates one more vote that could have been cast against 0bama.

citation required.

You're assumptions are terrible and your inferences are even worse.

Conservatives think with their brain, liberals think with the bleeding heart that's on their sleeve.

BTW...still waiting for that example proving that I am a mittensbot.

What other purpose is there than...<- inference.

BTW ... Give me an example of when I supported mittens or didn’t support free speech.

Still waiting....

The answer, Mittbot, is in your explanation for immediately coming into a thread about the evils of RomneyCare, utterly factual which you have not even tried to refute, and immediately insulted others by accusing them of being Obozo voters and helping O.

If that isn’t a request for people to STFU, I don’t know what it is.

You are lowering yourself to the level of leftists with that weak retort, enjoy the company.

For the record:

mittens = douche

0 = bigger douche

I now see where your loyalties lie, 0bamabot.

I can call names too, Nancy.

"I thank you and a few other Freepers for all you are doing towards helping me win another term.

David Axelrod and David Plouffe also thank you for making their job that much easier.

My Chicago-Thug, Political Machine extends their heartfelt appreciation.

The same applies for all my good Muslim Brotherhood buds
who have I recrtuited as personal confidants and advisers
as they work diligently (on my behalf)
to replace the Constitution with Sharia.

You HATE-ROMNEY/MORMON folks at FR keep this up
and I'll see if I can get you a gig
with the WA [Com]Post or the NY [Slimes] writing opinions on Mittens.

Thank, you, thank you, thank you!!!

Mittens, on a longer term, does more to harm our movement than Obama does.

I’ve seen conservatives suggest that Obozo will round conservatives up and shoot them. I FIND THIS MUCH BETTER THAN CONSERVATIVES BEING ROUNDED UP ONTO PLANTATIONS TO SUPPORT MEDIOCRITY AND DECAY"

HUH?

Are you FRIKIN NUTS?

Or more than likely a dyed in the wool, Paul Bot, which would explain a lot, though not your having completely lost your senses and marbles.

I often joke about some to put down the crack pipe, but in your case, I SERIOUSLY suggest you seek Psychiatric Counseling (if not COMMITTMENT) soon, like NOW!!!

No kidding. You came into the thread insulting others and their intentions, and you’ll end up leaving it that way too. And then you whine about getting it back.

Do you oppose states rights?

Socialism, whether at the state level or federal level is still just as wrong.

I see you have taken the mendacious position your boy Romney has taken as well, that of hiding behind the 10th Amendment to cover up the blatant socialism of his RomneyCare.

Are you really sure you want to argue for an Individual Mandate, and redistribution of wealth by forcing taxpayers to pay for the healthcare of others on a conservative website?

It’s this mentality that prefers spiritual/mental death over physical death that has doomed us to begin with. Of course, the idea that Obozo is going to round people up and shoot them if we don’t vote for Mittens is the height of fear mongering.

There is a small, fanatical cabal of Mormon haters and 0bama supporters active on FR. They fit like peas in a pod and aren’t interested in anything beyond ensuring the defeat of “Mittens”; don’t waste your time on them, because they are pretty much beyond reason at this point. It’s interesting to note that they seem to become most shrill around Freepathon time. Didn’t really see many of their threads since the last funding drive ended...now they’re back like herpes. Coincidence?

Ahh, the Hate Card and name-calling.

The last refuge of those who have sold their souls, principles and ethics for political expediance and fear of the unknown backing a known lying, left-wing, Progressive Liberal.

You disagree with the choice of those shown in Row1 and share the beliefs of Mitt by those shown on row 2.

Who do you support in the 2012 election?

Any true conservative or Conservative Republican.

Since Romney doesn't even qualify as a Republican given his record as a lying, left-wing, Progressive Liberal I'll have to look somewhere else.

Therefore, I'll either be writing in Sarah Palin or voting Virgil Goode.

There you go again, making my point for me.

When someone has lost the argument or is backing something or someone that actually goes against their stated principles, all they have left is false accusations and the Hate card.
