Article would have us believe that active gay-bashing is the only mission of these groups. They are Christian groups who happen to believe marriage is between one man and one woman. How is THAT “anti-gay”?

Important point - these are pro-family organizations that promote the traditional family. Gay activist and their media lackeys typically attempt to slur them as hate-filled, single-issue groups bent on denying homosexuals their rights.

God bless Chick-fil-A!

Now my personal vendetta won't make the oceans rise, but it satisfies me.

What some may refer to as vendetta,i'd refer to as principled common sense. Mega-kudos to you! :)

Have you tried their peach milkshake? I’m going to get one next week, it’s seasonal.

—Unfortunately, all restaurant food has way too much sodium, IMHO. —

Yup. That is why we rarely eat out. When we did our drives from Seattle to central Kentucky over the last couple of years the ONLY “chain” we would touch was Subway, and even then as rarely as possible.

I have not had a fast food burger since 1997.

Oh, that is too bad.
The spicy chicken sandwich is fantastic.
It makes me sweat.

We have Chick-fil-A’s and they are, without a doubt, the most polite and well run retail outlets ever! We know a lot of the kids that work there. Most are rosy cheeked home schooled Christians. Chick-fil-A sponsors CYT (Christian Youth Theatre) and worthwhile school events. Closed on Sundays because they legitimately honor the sabbath. Awesome display of American entreprenuership.

We have never been to one, but if the perverts hate them they must have something going for them. I emailed the one in Madison, Ga and will make it part of our weekly meeting there. I patronize Lowes and avoid Home Depot for the same reason. HD supports the pervert agenda.

These are the groups.

I don't have the time, but I suspect the extent of their 'anti gay' nature is that they won't sign on to the entire gay-advocacy agenda. Not that they are 'anti' but that they are not sufficiently 'pro' for the lavender Mafia.

I wish I could stomach their food. Way too salty, unfortunately.

What planet do you occupy?? Chick-fil-A has great food, and they are always busy with a line at the drive-in. As another responder suggested, order one of their great salads or a tasty shake if you insist that their sandwiches are "way too salty."

Just looked, and there are none close to anywhere I ever go, but the least we can do is send them a comment that we are pleased they are “anti-gay”.

Chick-fil-A supports only groups that follow the teachings in the Bible.

Sounds like Homeland Totalitarian Security will put the boot on them...

Holy crap, that’s not terribly far from my home base in Waterford. It’s along my motorcycle route to Rochester Mills Brewery as well. :)

Thanks.

Truett Cathy’s Five–Step recipe for Business Success

1. CLIMB WITH CARE AND CONFIDENCE

2. CREATE A “LOYALTY EFFECT”

3. NEVER LOSE A CUSTOMER

4. PUT PRINCIPLES AND PEOPLE AHEAD OF PROFITS

5. CLOSED ON SUNDAY

“I was not so committed to financial success that I was willing to abandon my principles and priorities. One of the most visible examples of this is our decision to close on Sunday. Our decision to close on Sunday was our way of honoring God and of directing our attention to things that mattered more than our business.”

I understand your perspective. Honest.

I went on the Prism diet in 1997 where I learned a lot about food and lost 55 lbs in the process. I became an avid label reader to where a lot of this stuff is second nature now.

My tastes changed. I just don’t like pretty much any fast food. We prepare almost all of our meals at home now and rarely eat out. But that’s just my taste buds. YMMV.

Chick Fil A is a Christian company, forget the actual denomination that Truett Cathy is, but effectively those are the followings of the organization. Anyone suprised by this is a moron.

Chick-Fil-A is without a DOUBT the best fast food chain out there, in terms of customer service and the best product of what they sell.

Gays don’t like the fact that Chick-Fil-A doesn’t embrace their lifestyle, go eat somewhere else.
