You’re so right.
We must win, not talk down Zero’s opponent.

Have a blessed Sunday.

We belonged to the same health club in Cambridge MA. Believe me, she does not look like that in real life.

Pretty deft move by NBC, don't ya' agree, TomGuy ? The franchise is teetering, so they preempt it to give everyone a chance , er... forceeveryone to sample the competition and see what they've been missing.

NBC will be the first to fall as soon as Obie's gone and can't prop them up anylonger.

That is so sad.

We don’t get bluebirds here because we have too many trees.

But we get plenty of other fabulous birds, God Bless.

We don’t have starlings here either, which you can also kill.

I got a starling story.

One night a snake climbed up to the upper eaves of our house and killed a starling nest. This was in our other house, in Merryland. Big ugly Adams family house but on a beautiful cove off of the Chesapeake Bay. How that snake got that high I dunno but in mid of night we hear squawking of starling and babies screaming, tulmult. Husband says, quietly as we were up late, “something’s got the starling nest.”

Now we know about snakes and nests and we kind of knew it was a black snake, baby birds being their favorite food.

The next day the father starling comes around and starts calling his family. Starlings have a kind of hoarse whistle and all day, all day, all day....serious, I cried, sobbed, at one point....all day he called his family.

He called and called and so bad I wanted to tell him his family is gone. He called and he called. At dusk he finally left.

They might be considered a trash species but to that male starling his family was everything to him. I truly think his pain was as deep and strong and the bass in his whistle.

But we do not get starlings here, thank God, nor house sparrows frankly, save they pass by.

One thing Delaware has a lot of are goldfinches. We didn’t have many of them in Merryland but here they are plentiful. Beautiful yellow bird, comes to my feeders sometimes.

Also had a blue bunting visit my feeders this year. I was psyched.

"Reince Priebus, Republican National Committee
chairman, looked like a deer in the headlights."

"No, you are projecting that,
Priebus did a good job."

You are mistaken. It was Priebus
projecting it - it was a sign from his face.
AND, it occurred in the background of
Priebus deliberately avoiding the question, twice.
The question being the weakness of Romney
to respond to Obama knuckling him over and over.
Mr. RomneyCARE ought have taken the advice of your mentor:
"Contempt for an assailant is best shown by bravery in action."
Thucydides - Book VI

"You left out the Fox guy’s display
of a bogus CNN poll."

Please favor us with the background information.

You’re wasting your breath. If a drunk stumbled onto the set and screamed, “Romney is running a poor campaign” and needs to do this or that, there are people here who would be repeating it as truth and say it is yet another reason Romney is no good.

You didn’t offend.

You just illustrated how convoluted it is to put a picture here.

It’s just not worth the trouble.

Food stamps for one person aren’t much, and they are adjusted depending on one’s total income and assets — and other benefits. If your other expenses are met by the govt, you will be expected to obtain your daily bread as God decreed: effort.

The rules are byzantine, that’s for sure.

There ARE people getting $30k or better from the govt, but they are not the average.

It also depends on the state you live in. And of course on your ethnicity. The rules for “Native Americans,” for example, are not the rules for everyone.

For some reason, I cannot stand her.

As for the male variety, don’t really know him.

How about Paul Ryan?

That’s Indigo bunting.

Stayed for ten minutes, munching sunflower seeds, me watching, still, quiet, jaw on floor.

He was a beauty.

Sarah Palin does a good jog of standing up for what I believe. I do not believe she is propaganda driven.

You and Rodguy need to loosen up.

I always hear about not letting “perfect” be the downfall of not letting legislation pass. And yet the Bushes are examples of this. There are others, her in Texas we are finally rid of Mrs. Huchison.

This election cycle we find ourselves in this dilemma, something about living in interesting times come to mind

It is sad, also what is sad is how gov. Martin O' Malley from Md. is reinventing what happened under Bush43. Thank God Jindall realizes what they are up to and rights their wrongs.

They really don't want him talking but he does anyway. Left wing moderator Terry something after Romney's wealth and how he hides it offshore.

Jindall points out zero never even ran a lemonaide stand. They cut Jindall off all the time typical rat BS.

O'malley claims "we don't want to go back to the philosophy that brought us here" ignoring the left wing Congress 06-10 that actually brought us here through crazy rules regs, socialism and too easy to get a loan.

No thought whatsoever about excessive spending.

They ignore 4% unemployment when Romney was in Mass.ignore everything basically, they just lie all the time.

Everything must be done through govt. according to the left. Forget the debt just keep printing more money and buying our own debtnone of this is ever mentioned.

I think Tim Russert is vastly over rated. People give him way more credit than he is due because they hesitate to speak ill of the dead. I remember vividly the way Potato Head’s voice and facial expressions changed depending on whether he was talking to a Dem or Republican. There was nothing impartial or unbiased about him

I think he represented a different time and type of moderator. He may have been biased, but certainly not to the extent of the lineup of just plain idiots they have now.

Problem is, it’s not just “over there”. A day or two ago, there was a great thread with link to Geert Wilder’s cautionary article. Islam has overtaken much of Europe with the numbers growing daily. Any criticism is now considered Hate Speech with death threats/plots against the speakers, AND it’s now happening right here, not just with terrorist attempts but even more threatening Stealth Jihad against our culture, system, and Judeo-Christian values. Political Correctness is one of Islam’s best weapons and the dangerous truth is that most Americans are ignorant about this, in denial, naive, or complicit in it (the Left).

We ignore this threat at our extreme peril.

Too much hatred for Romney. It turns everyone off.

Agreed. I'm still and will continue to be a monthly doner and used to participate a lot on FR, but the Republican primary infighting and the continued Romney bashing (hey! like him or not, he's our nominee) turns me off. Now, I just lurk occasionally.
