If you wanna cave any system this how you do it. Put everyone possible on it and make it easy to get on.

Most people hold out like Hank Rearden. Except Rearden didn't carry the load on his shoulders out of habit or lack of guts.

If enough of the people who enable the system would switch to the enablee line, the system would cave within days.

If people want to believe something badly enough, they will.

A lot of people here hate Romney to the point that they will believe anything, like the ridiculous attempt to paint Romney’s family vacation as something gross.

By the way, don’t worry about loosening up. Never saw an uptight fisherman.

I’ll have to ask the domestic partner, he’s the one who told me the story.

Some sort of attempt by the gov’t to do something ... and like always they never expect unexpected consequences.

eau contraire', Romney's job1 is to defeat Obama, which I believe he is doing pretty well. In fact, Mitt may not have to do much at all to accomplish that, since Obie's been doing a pretty good job of destroying himself over the last month. There's more to come, for certain.

It's up to Congress to pull Mitt to the right when the time comes, IF he is not so inclined.

I still maintain this moral Mormon, may be very conservative indeed when unleashed from the necessity to pander to liberals (which admittedly he can and has done in the land of Mass.)

I for one would appreciate your assistance instead of constant Romney bashing. You're hurting yourself, not to mention the rest of us conservatives. Oh, please save your documentation of Romney's liberal history and re-read the previous paragraph.

Obie is shedding supporters daily, left and right. He has no chance. Then, it's on to job2 when we could use your support with the House and Senate, if it's still needed.

CNN shows Obama leading. Surely you don’t put any faith in the irrelevant but lefty CNN! That poll indicated Obama leading in battleground states.

Rasmussen’s latest polling of likely voters in states across the land shows Mitt Romney currently leading President Barack Obama in the quest for electoral votes. In fact, if the 9 key swing states were each to go according to Rasmussen’s latest polling, and if the 41 other states (plus Washington, D.C.) were each to go as they would be expected to go in a tight race, Obama would have 243 electoral votes and Romney 269

http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/rasmussen-romney-269-obama-243_647240.html

Ohio: Romney 46%, Obama 44%

Mitt Romney has inched ahead of President Obama in Ohio, taking the lead in the key battleground state after the president has led there for several months.

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/state/ohio

That gives you a flavor....

That’s the problem, right there, hsalaw. People like you have drifted away and people like a couple of posters here not only stay but it seems to be their day job to infest every thread with their warped opinions.

Most of us like to discuss politics. That’s why we’re on political threads.

We don’t like the Romney hatred, the mormon hatred, the religious intolerance and superiority, and, dare I even say it, the gay hatred.

So we stay quiet or drift away and leave the asylum to the inmates.

If you can afford drip irrigation then get it. You will save a HUGE amt on your water bill. Since the hose is buried a couple of inches below the surface the water drips from the emitters directly to the root area with no evaporation.

Rather then daily watering or multi time per day watering it is possible to irrigate just once (with a mulch cover of a couple of inches) and in an emergency twice weekly and not have to watch your garden dry out and perish.

My wifes flowers have never looked better and the savings in water (foe irrigation) is almost 50% not to mention the time saved in not having to stand there with a hose or manually run the irrigation spray heads.

Some dolt on ABC “without anyone yo have ever heard of”,just said that obama will win because he brought back the auto industry.
Truth is obama did what Mitt is accused of doing. He transferred thousands of jobs to china!!
GM is now a big player in CHina. They advertise for communist buyers to buy their cadillacs and advertise in movies that tell the history of China!! Truly unprecedented!! Yet zero saved GM,almost an alternate universe these people live in.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L76NDvELKqk

Above is a two minute video on how GM/Cadillac sponsored a movie in china
“Birth of a Party”
which celebrated the founding of the chinese communist party. And we/our tax dollars, paid for it,just too good.
Zero doing exactly what he accused Romeny of onoy uppingthe ante suppportingcommunism even more, just too good.

sparrows were imported in another example of government interference and stupidity

Didn't know that, though I did read they aren't native to America.

In the past few years our area has seen the decline of every other bird, with the possible exception of blackbirds. It's hard to blame it all on sparrows, since not every other species is in competition with them, but just the same, even the pigeons are fewer in number. (Not that I miss them.)

And I enjoy birdwatching...long as there's a hammock around...so I notice. House sparrows are taking over.

Wow check once in a while and here you are. Flop Sweating over Romney hour after hour, day after day, month after month. Really don’t you work? Sleep? Or is this just a full time obsession with you? Man how’s that 10 room mansion that Romney rents free in your head? Have you added the garage yet? LOL

Problem is, it’s not just “over there”. A day or two ago, there was a great thread with link to Geert Wilder’s cautionary article. Islam has overtaken much of Europe with the numbers growing daily. Any criticism is now considered Hate Speech with death threats/plots against the speakers, AND it’s now happening right here, not just with terrorist attempts but even more threatening Stealth Jihad against our culture, system, and Judeo-Christian values. Political Correctness is one of Islam’s best weapons and the dangerous truth is that most Americans are ignorant about this, in denial, naive, or complicit in it (the Left). We ignore this threat at our extreme peril.

Exactly, brilliant post, I saw that piece on Gert Wilders, a personal hero of mine, last week. He is one of the few that has the guts to separate the religions. He understands that Catholicism, Judaism, and Protestantism to name a few, are true religions and differ enormously from islam which is a devised method of control over its subjects.

Hahaha,I take advice from friends only, you included!

MNJ is as upset as I am that certain Freepers don't get the difference between rinos and communists. As I have said before we are in a long, long war against both. To lose it over not getting one's preference is very short sighted.

There are forums which allow for putting up images using a simple copy and paste.

There sure are. What these sites do is upload your image from your local disk and store it on their server. Images are much larger (more expensive) than text. Were FR to do this I would expect that they would need to roughly double the existing hardware for equivalent performance.

Not a web designer, but I've written a few db driven websites.

I do think that learning HTML is becoming fundamental. Like typing. You can live your life without being able to touch type, but it limits the bandwidth of your communication channel. It's a choice.

I, for one, welcome our new Cybernetic Overlords /.

Do our votes have a fighting chance?

Of course, in the house and senate. That's where to focus.
