Former President Bill Clinton said Friday he is "perplexed" by Mitt Romney's decision to release just one year of his personal tax returns.
"It's typical, I think — we all release 10 or 11 years," he told NBC's "Today" show. "I am a little surprised that he only released a year's worth of tax returns. ... That's kind of perplexed me."

Well I am “perplexed” Obama hasn’t.
So that makes us even, then.
Yet, no one is ‘perplexed’ about Obama’s missing college years, foreign student assistance, law journal writings or personal associations.
Those of us old enough to remember are perplexed as to why Mr. Clinton never released his personal health/medical records.
Yesterday Rush said Romney had released his 2010 and 2011 returns, and has asked for an extension on his 2012. Meanwhile, Debbie Wasserman Slut hasn’t released any of hers.
Apparently I’m supposed to be more outraged about what Romney does with his money than Obama does with mine.
I’m “perplexed” as to how Mr Clinton had sex, in the White House, with a 19-year old intern and somehow, someway, the feminists were OK with it. They must all be Penn State graduates.

I hear ya, BJ. I recall being perplexed at why a 50 something president of the most powerful nation in the world would spend his days diddling 20 year old interns in the Oval Office.
Not only would Evita not own up to the FBI files in her possession, but no one in the Clinton White House would own up to who David Livingstone was working for. He was drawing a White House pay check, but no one knew who he was working for. We are also perplexed about this too, Slick.

I’m perplexed that after 6 months the Romneys haven’t figured out a way to put this issue to bed. I’m perplexed why Romney, who has been running for President for 12 years, didn’t arrange his finances so they were so snow white there would be nothing to criticize.

That is the obvious response. Romney could have said that six months ago, 4 months ago, yesterday. For some reason he won’t do it.
So I’m more angry with Romney for just sitting there and taking it than I am people who talk about it.
They talk about it because it’s and issue and it’s an issue because Romney refuses to deal with it.
