Palin: Condi Rice "Would Be A Wonderful Vice President"
Real Clear Politics ^ | July 13, 2012

Posted on 07/13/2012 11:36:49 AM PDT by Free ThinkerNY

"I think that Condoleezza Rice would be a wonderful vice president and she certainly has much more experience than our sitting president," former Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) said when asked for her reaction to news that Rice is near the top of Romney's list for VP.

Palin is asked by host of "On the Record" Greta van Susteren what she thought about Rice being "moderately pro-choice."

Palin tells host of "On the Record" Greta van Susteren that she would prefer a pro-life vice presidential candidate, however she says ultimately the power to legislate abortion does not lie with the vice president.

Well sonny boy, guess we need to review your rather dramatic case of premature exasperation...

Department of Homeland Security Thugs???
How many divisions is that?
How many regiments or battalions?
Companies, squads?
You mean the TSA fat asses at the airport molesting passengers? Secret Service? ICE?, maybe the Coast Guard? These don't give me images of panzers occupying my state capital!

Of course, it could never happen in your state. Impossible.
Just like those Austrians who just knew that Herr Schicklgruber would never annex them. Uh uh, couldn't happen.

And don't call me sonny boy!

Oops, too late.

And you are right I shouldn't school you! ....it's a waste of time!

I doubt there is anything in your collection of knowledge and tid bits that would interest me, unless it was how you managed to get those effin blinders on your head that tight.

By the way---and I'm not just throwing this out to "make nice": I think the smartest move Romney could make as a veep would be Goode. He would simultaneously solve a) the conservative concerns (or some small measure of them; b) the ticket-balancing issue; and c) would not take away a sitting senator whom we desperately need in the Senate or a governor from a potential swing state where we will need someone to WATCH the votes! Oh, and d) it would take the 3d party issue off the ballot and ensure Romney wins VA, and, I think, the election.

I don't think Romney will do it, and probably Goode wouldn't do it either, but it would sure be the deal clincher for the election.

You’re the most pure conservative I’ve ever met. Maybe the most pure that exists on this forum. Great work maintaining utter and total purity! We may have Obama reelected, but at least you’ll have your moral superiority intact.

You’re the most pure conservative I’ve ever met.

Funny, while others here were tearing into Perry, Newt and Santorum, I was fine with any of the three so long as a Romney nomination could have been avoided.

Do you think if Romney wins that there will be free and fair elections in 2016?

Why don't you tell us why don't think there will be if Obama is reelected.

You're spewing paranoid hyperbole.

No bashing here. Just pointing out that Republicans including Palin need to stop supporting RINOs like Mitt and Rice. When we run Conservative we win. Every time. I want to win the election this fall. But the Rockefeller Republicans run the party and that is formula for failure.

I hope that Romney wins I really do. Just like I hoped Bob Dole would win. But I see a pattern here that I just don't like. I am voting for whoever is running against Obama. But I really think that Mitt Romney is not going to be significantly different.

Republicans and Democrats at the top of the political food chain are intermarrying in Washington DC. They can't be too far apart when they are doing that.

I want to hear Mitt say something thats going to convince the conservatives that he really means business.

“Hitting the mark with iron sites (no scope) at 300 yards.”

I won’t dual with you.... 300 yards is very good.

I have a Rock River LAR-15, 5.56 with EOTech optics and I would never bother to try to reach that far out, because I know I’d miss the mark. LOL

Anyway, you might not be a bad guy in person, but you need to deal with your PDS.

Good luck.

I understand your concerns...

Sarah P is not the Second Coming. But, she fought hard and long when most conservative men were hovering, waiting for the wind to blow favorably.

She earned my respect at that point; she ain’t no punk.

She worked for the Tea Parties when “conservative” men were licking their wounds and sticking their finger in the air to see when it was safe.

Blast her all you wish; she carried the fight to the enemy when the men
(save a few) were punks.

Gator113 I am a lifelong Conservative. But our leaders have to stop supporting RINO's The mushy middle does nothing but lose elections. Palin when she supports RINO's ends up with that label. Its not fair but those who you support is a reflection on you especially in politics. I would vote for Palin if she were running and I am voting for Mitt (proof that I don't have PDS). But I am under no illusions that when the Republicans run to the mushy middle they lose elections.

I did not like Bob Dole but I supported him and worked at his campaign headquarters in Atlanta in 96. And when he said he did not feel bound to the GOP platform, I had that huge sinking feeling that we had just lost the election.

The GOP needs to be purged of RINO's And people who support them, they need to form the RINO party or something.

If a completely unknown, experienced ward politician can become president there’s hope for anyone, if the right people get behind him/her with the money. Money is the name of the game. Obummer will go down in history as worse than
Jimmy Carter, and that’s saying mouthful. He has been totally incompetent in all areas.

“Its not fair....”. “I would vote for Palin if she were running...”

Okay. I apologize for getting so “in your face”. When I see what I consider Palin bashing, I instantly see red. I also don’t disagree with the rest of this post.

As for Romney, I guess time will tell with me. I can’t stand the man, but I absolutely hate Obama’s guts.

There are many folks that consider themselves to be conservatives that have quickly joined in support for Romney. I understand their argument, I truly get it, but I am just not there and I am not sure I will ever be. I keep hoping that something will happen that will be the one piece to put me over, but I am a hard sell.

One thing is certain, I have never seen my country so dan screwed up and for the moment, her future looks very bad.

BTW, I can’t drink RC (diabetes), but I love Chili. ;>)
