The president of Chick-fil-A said his company is “guilty as charged” when it comes to supporting traditional marriage and warned that gay marriage is “inviting God’s judgment on our nation.”

Dan Cathy, the president and chief operating officer, told Baptist Press that the company founded by his father was unapologetically in favor of traditional marriage.

Tim Hawkins is the Christian comedian who does lots of songs with his guitar. Do not get him confused with comedian Robert Hawkins, who is funny, but is foul mouthed and often down right dirty.

They just announced that they are building a new place a few blocks form the house. One of my sons can’t wait because he wants to work there and we have a friend who likely knows the franchise owner.

Great food and awesome service.

Rather odd, I have the exact opposite experience. Although a few of my friends are libtards, the only ones who post about “marriage equality” or such drivel are the militant Sodomites. The straight folks post about where we grew up, music we like, online games and so forth.

GREAT! We love Chick-Fil-A — they are SO efficient in how they move customers through the lines as well.

I work at Chick-fil-A. I have met this president of CFA, Dan Cathy. He and his family are as real as they get. His father, Truett Cathy, who founded CFA, is probably one of the most Godly men you will ever meet if you meet him. They not only talk the talk, they walk the walk. CFA makes more money in 6 days then most fast food restaurants make in 7, so they can afford to be closed on Sundays.

but the franchisees will take the brunt of the backlash.

Around here the CFA drive-thoughs have at least 4 times as many cars backed up as any other resturant, and nearly continuously every day. And they serve food faster than anyone else.

They serve a lot more people than even a mcDonalds with double drive-throughs.

I doubt they'll even notice.

The lines might even get longer.

Good for Dan Cathy - lots of us out here in the real world - 'unapologetically' stand in favor of traditional marriage. We're tired of liberal bigots and traditional-a-phobes....

What 'backlash' are you talking about? Gays are 2% of the population.

And the press has a BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG mouth - but journalists in any given town are outnumbered by, well, by every other group. More 7/11 clerks, more lawyers, more people who sell tires, more unemployed, more criminals, more gun owners - hardly any journalists at all... Really, not many - and fewer every day.

So exactly what 'backlash' are you talking about?

Very well said. The nearest one is 12 miles from me, but I’ll happily make the drive.
