That was cute! When Rush couldn’t remember Jim’s last name, he said “I’m drawing a blank! FReepers are gonna kill me!”
It was obvious, once again, and in spite of what some folks elsewhere wish to believe, Rush has great memories, fondness and affection for FReeRepublic, and for Jim.
He’d better—he’s been cribbing stories from here for over a decade!

Just opposite is true. Rush has a great memory and remembers every little gnat and yet he could not remember jim’s last name? That indicates IMO that rush is no freeper.
It’s like rattling a cage of ferrets...to quote a FReeper from a thread long ago and far, far away...
I've heard him say quite a few things in recent months and years that I'm 99% certain he picked up here.
