Racism is alive and well in Virginia and is subtly manifested in Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's outreach to voters, a local legislator and key Obama surrogate said in a recent interview.

Those comments made Friday by Portsmouth Democratic Sen. Louise Lucas during a local radio interview on behalf of President Barack Obama's re-election campaign have taken on a life of their own, particularly in conservative media.

Nothing new here. SOS. Obama could calling for the establishment of an outright soviet state, and you’d be called a racist for opposing the idea. I’m thinking ridicule is the best weapon against these idiots.

Give us a heads up ConservativeInPA. Is there a chance Romney can carry PA this year? Every year, PA teases us and then they end up going for the Dem Presidential candidate. Whaddya think? Is there any reason for us to get our hopes up re: PA this year?

I think the chances are good that Romney carries PA. Their is significant voter apathy on the part of Rats throughout the commonwealth. Conservatives are fired up to vote; not so much for Romney, but to vote against Obama. There is also a new voter ID law that is vigorously being opposed by Rats. They are scared. If the law stands, it will cut down on voter fraud in Philadelphia. It will be ugly after the election though.

Suburban Philadelphia will be key in winning the election. If Delaware, Montgomery, and Bucks counties have a strong Republican turnout it will go a long way to offset the entitlement vote in Philadelphia. The middle part of the state, minus Scanton, Harrisburg, Johnstown and State College will turn out to throw out Hussein in a big way. On the western end of the state, Pittsburgh and Erie will be close, but will side for Obama. What will be interesting is SW PA below Piitsburgh. I think they will turn Republican this year. That is coal and shale region and they are fed up with Obama's energy policy. The rest of the Marcellus Shale parts of the state have always been firm Replublican, which is different than in Greene, Washington and Somerset counties in SW PA.

It is important to note that the state government is Republican ... General Assembly, Senate and Governor. That happened in 2010. Although most of them are RINOs. Given that Romney is a RINO, I think it works for him. More important in PA and to the country is electing two additional congressional seats and unseating Sen. Bob Casey, Jr. Casey is not engaged with anyone in PA. He is the silent senator and he is going down.

So I am optimistic, particularly if Obama wants to engage in class warfare, racism, and attacking those who cling to their guns and Bibles. There are a lot of good, hard working, God fearing Democrats in the state that live very conservative lives that need to wake up to the fact that their daddy's union instructions to vote for Democrats isn't in their best interest. In many cases, daddy's union doesn't exist and neither do the jobs.

I was with you until you to “Respectfully”. ;>)

LOL. That was only written to offset what was really in mind. The words in my mind are worthy of a ZOT of FR. Even here there is political correctness and you can't call a spade a spade.
