No, you are not - you are supporting full fledged, irreversible Marxism. You are no more supporting conservatism than members of the CPUSA.

And that Romney was to the left of Ted Kennedy, before he became severely conservative during the Repub primaries. Definitely not an opportunist!

That’s not correct and quite a selective / partial response. Many of those were closed primaries and he won by strong margins in many of them while simultaneously voters tossed out others highly supported by the establishment, such as long time Senator Richard Lugar - who did not even come close to winning (losing 61-39 - quite a revolt against such a long term, established incumbent).

You didn’t vote for him...I didn’t vote for him...but most of our fellow conservatives did. Those are the facts...trying to live in an alternate reality other than the one we are faced with and throwing a childish temper tantrum in a scorched earth strategy deliberately designed to cause harm to your country because you didn’t get your way is not in the least an appropriate thing to do. The stakes are way too high.

I like Virgil Goode, but he does not need to be on the ballot in Virginia.

You (xzins)hold more contempt for what Romney “might” do, rather than what Obama has already done to our nation?

One claims to be a conservative now, but is a known liar with a liberal record. The other is an anti American socialist tyrant.

One might destroy the country. The other will destroy the country.

Come November, it's "might destroy" versus "will destroy".

People of conscience consider that.

But the important thing is that they are able to have their little fit. So what what...Obama gets a second term, at least these guys showed Romney a thing or two!

Exactly - just complain for the sake of complaining. "If Obama finishes off the country through more radical appointments and enacting laws through executive fiat - so be it - at least we will have taught Romney a lesson!" Meanwhile they fawn fake comments like we shouldn't trust Romney and instead just focus on getting more conservatives elected to Congress (which, IMHO, would be a very honorable alternative - let Romney sink or swim on his own if you really can't stomach helping him and focuse all of your efforts on these other worthwhile endeavors - such as ensuring Mourdock gets in there in Indiana - what an amazing improvement that would be over Lugar for the GOP caucus!)...but do you see any of these same people focusing their energy toward posting about and encouraging support for the key Senate and House races that could make this happen? Nope - just all posts bashing Romney and marveling about the "creativity" of a "true conservative" candidate's alliance with far left parties trying to get him on the ballot to help Obama's re-election chances.

Congressman Goode has always been a conservative.

Goode does have a pretty conservative voting record.

That said, I remembering Pelosi being elected speaker unaminously by her party members.

Goode was a Democrat thru ~2009.

Obama is dismantling the Constitution and nothing will stop him if he gets a second term:

UN arms treaty takes shape, raising alarm among gun rights advocates

http://www.foxnews.com/world/2012/07/25/un-treaty-takes-shape-and-takes-aim-at-gun-owners/

“For a treaty to become U.S. law, two-thirds of the Senate must vote to ratify it. Still, experts told FoxNews.com that if the Obama administration signs on and the Senate does not expressly reject it, the treaty may later be enforceable in the United States as international “customary law” - absent a successful challenge based on the Constitution. “

Your comment is illogical, RW.

My candidate is a conservative. Yours is a radical liberal who just 2 months ago came out in favor of gay couples, and topped it off by insisting that gay couples at state level should be allowed to adopt children.

His name will appear on the ballot in my home state of Ohio. I will vote for him. All of his votes will be in one column, Romney’s in another, Obama’s in another, etc.

I would never vote for Romney or Obama. Ever, for any reason. It NEVER would have happened.

I opposed him in 2008, and I oppose him now.

I am not inconsistent.

I’m betting I can find posts in which you claim he’s a liberal no account. Am I right?

Goode was not a democrat through 2009.

He ceased being a democrat in 1999 and wasn’t even a representative in 2009 to be able to vote for Pelosi.

You pulled that out of thin air, FreeReign.

Thou shalt not bear false witness.

I would rather dis agree.

My take is it that “one” will destroy the country.

“ONE” will destroy the country with YOUR CONSENT.

Or not.

“People of conscience consider that.”

Still waiting for all these pro Romney types to admit the obvious...

“I, __________________, declare that I have decided that conservatism has failed and as such, I will vote for the Republican Mitt Romney, A man whose history I am aware of regarding his liberalism. It is with open eyes and no regrets that I will disavow everything I believe conservative ideals and the American Constitution ever stood for just to get Obama out of office.

Further, by doing so, I accept that I adopted the very things I formerly despised to get a liberal elected President and henceforth I have no legitimate right to ever be trustworthy again - since my newly adopted situational ethics allow me to bend like a twig in the prevailing political winds.

Signed, _____________________________”

Now if they are so gung ho on Romney being SOOOO much better than the other lib running, they should have the guts to man up, stop all the excuse making and admit before the world who and what they really are...because a vote for a liberal, regardless of the reason shows definitively what they are.

How does one “save” America by voting for abortion, gun control, homosexuals in the military/marriage? Romney has stated no intention to fight abortion, reverse the queering of the armed forces, hold any of the current admin to account or anything else. And his promise on Obamacare has NOTHING but air behind it.

So have some integrate Romney fans. Sign the above statement and stop pretending conservatism guides you. Then again, anyone willingly voting for a lib, R or D, has pretty clearly outed themselves regardless. That’s just reality.

Goode was always a conservative and kept getting in trouble for it.

He lost democrat support when he voted to impeach Clinton.

He lost Republican support when he refused to support TARP.

His voting record has a higher conservative rating AS A DEMOCRAT than all but a handful of republicans.

As a republican his voting record was unimpeachable.

He has never wavered on support for pro-life.

Compared with Radical Liberal Romney, Virgil Goode is Ronald Reagan.

I was mistaken, off by a decade.

I posted in all sincerity as I always do.

Your accusation that I didn't is false and pulled from thin air.

Look in the mirror about bearing false witness, xzins.
