I can’t find a transcript but it sure sounds from the article like he’s trying to get them to forfeit their right to support anti-SSM groups in return for a permit. In other words, they can keep their freedom of speech, sort of, as long as they cede their freedom of association. That’s “Chicago values,” I guess.
"Chicago Alderman Joe Moreno says the door isn’t entirely closed on a new Chick-fil-A restaurant opening in his 1st ward.
Moreno told WBEZ that the owners seeking to build the restaurant have said they won’t support any groups with a political agenda, including those with an anti-gay marriage stance.
Moreno says if he gets an explicit guarantee from the franchise owner he will consider granting zoning rights to a new Chick-fil-A in Logan Square.
“If they’re serious about that, and they’re willing to put that in writing and they’re willing to adopt that. I think those are the grounds where we can move forward,” Moreno said.
I bet no one in the Torre-Capone-Nitti gang believed in homosexual marriage or had ever even thought of such a preposterous thing.
The owners are looking at the question -
do I fear God, or do I fear Men?
or, historically,
get thrown in the furnace, or bow down to the idol?
And they’re answering the question correctly.

They need to simply yank the curtain down on this and state the fact that the left, the State, and the democrats in the state have an anti-Christian agenda. That’s the truth of the matter, or the “crux of the matter”, to be more specific.

I like bonanza.com. Needs more traffic but it’s far more seller-friendly. Amazon and ebay are the plantations of the smaller sellers, with oppressive rules and excessive fees. In the long run, seller-unfriendly = buyer-unfriendly.

Me too, but now I just use Amazon for reviews and getting the product Name and Model number then I google that and find other sellers. Amazon backing homosexual “marriage” is simply no much for this former Amazon customer to swallow.

Chicago’s Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection (BACP) is currently experiencing a high volume of calls. When I reached Alex in that department, I said, “If I were to start a business in Chicago, would I be prohibited from affiliating with, or supporting, organizations which in turn support the traditional family.”

Don’t fall for it Mr. Cathy. Close your businesses there, tell him where he can stick his city and ward. Let the animals have the place. You will be happier and they will be happier. As an afterthought, you could move one of your businesses to Plant City, Florida. I am sure that there people in other places that would appreicate one of the others in their area. That is the only way to deal with animals.

So... When did congress say Chick-Fil-A could not build in Chicago? And when did they change that to “you can build if you promise not to be a christian”?
