Sarah Palin has officially shown her support for Chick-fil-A, as the fast food chain faces continuing backlash over same-sex marriage.

The 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee on Friday posted a photo on her Twitter page of herself and husband Todd standing at a counter with the caption, “Stopped by Chick-fil-A in The Woodlands to support a great business.”

According to Politico, Palin had announced earlier in the day she planned to pay a visit to the eatery at a rally for Texas Republican Senate candidate Ted Cruz.

I think they’ll survive without you and without the homosexuals as well.

And CFA is very picky about their franchisees. You can get a franchise for $5,000 but very few are chosen.

Is it really that low? I've never heard of a fast food franchise that you can get into for much less than $1 million (though that does include non-fee expenses).

Got $5000 laying around? Then you can forget the burgers and throw your money down on a license to operate a Chick-Fil-A. But get in line. Chick-Fil-A only gives about 75 of the 10,000 applicants per year the right to operate a franchise, and along with this right comes strict stipulations.

I only know this because my daughter did reports on CFA when she was studying for her MBA.

I may look into it, but I'd be real interested to know what the other costs (building, equipment, etc.) are.

I’ve never even seen or eaten at a Chik-Fil-A and don’t intend to do so - ever.

I don't care. No, really, I don't.

I think we should start a ‘Keep the Change’ program. Next time you eat there tell the cashier to keep the change. I trust the company to do something good with the extra money. Then the company can tell the news media of the good work they are doing with their customers’ change which was donated.

I hope Twitter dries up and blows away. I cannot believe that humans have nothing more constructive to do with their time.

Wow! Talk of one "to suck all the joy out of life, wherever they might find any."

As Dennis Prager wrote, "Happines Is A Serious Problem". You might get something out of reading it. Then again....

Healthy food? The Chicken Sandwich has MSG in it. MSG is the second ingredient in the seasonings after salt.

The poster in #6 specified the grilled selection you linked, and it has no MSG.

Okay, I had that one earlier today. But we also got a couple of grilled sandwiches for lunch tomorrow. My wife generally avoids the breaded stuff too. I’ll try to do better.

Excellent idea! Superb! That is exactly what my wife and I are going to do next Wednesday on Chick Fil-A Appreciation Day! Thank you for this inspiration!

And I hope some glowering faggie is lurking nearby when we do. He’ll hiss “breeders!!” and our day is made.

;^)
