I’m not questioning Cheney’s conservatism, I’m questioning his intellect.

Anyone who followed the 2008 election and is unable to comprehend that a) Palin was the only chance McCain had of winning, and b) McCain restrained Palin to the point of flushing that chance down the toilet (all by himself), simply fails the intellect test.

Maybe it’s his age; maybe we’ve just been snowed by him in the past. Whatever it is, what he’s saying now is very stupid. He’s either senile or he had a lot of help covering up his low IQ in the past.

For the sake of his good memory I’m willing to accept the senile defense.

What happened in 08 was the economic crash, pushed and timed perfectly by insiders to happen just in time to catapult Obama, who was losing, into the White House. The media blamed the whole thing on Republican Bush. Largely the fault actually belonged to Democrats in Congress, because they had stubbornly refused to regulate Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac for years. Bush acted like the world was collapsing and the public was told by the media that it was all his fault and led to actually hate and disdain him for it.

At that point, without anyone explaining anything, except the media, who spoon fed the public that Obama was a god who would save us, I am amazed that that McCain and Palin did as well as they did. Without the precisely timed economic collapse, it was clear that they would have won, because of Sarah Palin being chosen as the Vice Presidential candidate.
