TUCSON, AZ--(Marketwire - Aug 2, 2012) - The following is a statement from Vante:
Vante regrets the unfortunate events that transpired yesterday in Tucson between our former CFO/Treasurer Adam Smith and an employee at Chick-fil-A. Effective immediately, Mr. Smith is no longer an employee of our company.
The actions of Mr. Smith do not reflect our corporate values in any manner. Vante is an equal opportunity company with a diverse workforce, which holds diverse opinions. We respect the right of our employees and all Americans to hold and express their personal opinions, however, we also expect our company officers to behave in a manner commensurate with their position and in a respectful fashion that conveys these values of civility with others.
We hope that the general population does not hold Mr. Smith's actions against Vante and its employees.
May the Cathy family be comforted by the Lord for He is with them. Dan Cathy spoke as a prophet as if he saw Adam Smith coming. God's judgement is swift to the prideful and arrogant. I find it significant that the first to fall is named ADAM.

I can characterize their response as being almost verbatim to my contact with them and my concern about the executive’s behavior and its reflection upon their company image. I included my credentials. This was a decent response and they took the necessary action to eliminate potential damage to their branding.

What keeps amazing me about these lefties is how sure they are of themselves, that the thought doesn’t even cross their minds that what they are doing is not something to be proud of. So many of them actually videotape themselves acting hateful, and don’t think twice about sharing the video with the rest of the world, PROUD of their misdeeds, thinking that the whole world will actually applaud their actions!!! It just shows just how terribly insulated they are from contrary opinion and values. They are then genuinely shocked by the reaction of the world (including when their guys get voted out of office).

I beleive if you read the Bible you’ll see that Christ said to forgive your enemies. He didn’t say they have to come and ask first.
He said “Before the father will forgive you, go first and forgive those who have harmed you.” AGain, didn’t say anything about being asked to forgive.
We forgive for our peace of mind whether they want it or not.
The msm will only be hurt when conservatives start ignoring them. If a republican is in the white house, don’t give press passes to liberal “journalists”. Or never ask one of them a question. Stop appearing on their TV shows and don’t do interviews with the print media. It wouldn’t be long before they’d all fold or change drastically to real journalism.
This little lady would have to forgive Adam Smith if he drove through the line 490 times. I admit I’m not that good a person. And thank God nobody has done the same thing to me 490 times. I think I would have re-acted in a not to nice a way after only about 5 times or less.
