As another poster said, ‘The Chicken That Roared’. How about ‘Gone With The Chicken’? Or ‘Yonder stands CFA Like A Stone Wall’.

Were there any sales going on at Chick-Fil-a yesterday? This wasnt even sponsored by them, they had regular prices, I think. From the nation wide turn out just to show appreciation to them for their stance on traditional mariage, their sales had to be through the roof.

Good for them !!!

judging from the pictures posted here on FR, and by reading Rush's comments, I was positively impressed. Rush nailed it (again) -- it was like the Tea Party rally in DC, and in fact I had the same sort of feeling when I saw those pics here, too.

It was like catching a bit of sunshine in the middle of an interminable, gray winter.

We are still so screwed, but it's nice to catch a bit reality in the middle of this bad dream.

Chick-Fil-A doesn’t offer too many coupons, but yesterday my mom got a free brownie with her meal. She was going to pay, but they gave it to her for free because they were so busy.

Then the second place we went to in the evening was giving out cards for a free peach shake that you could use for then or later. They ran out of the peach, but gave us 3 free shakes of different flavors. Then they brought out two kids meals and we had only ordered one. They gave us the second one free. So for all that I only ended up paying $3 dollars and something—only for the one kid’s meal. At the other store earlier in the day I paid $23 something for 3 combo meals plus shake, and a brownie.

It was a lot of fun yesterday, but reflecting on it today it’s even more spectacular. This was a true grass roots deal organized only recently and it happened all over the country with thousands and thousands of people doing this on their own accord. It’s truly amazing and the people that participated should be proud.

I found out today, that tomorrow I will be going to the area where my Chick-fil-A is, so I’m going by there after my appointment. It will be Friday in the afternoon, and I naturally don’t know what I’ll find there. I hope the homos don’t hit that one.

“I hope the homos don’t hit that one.”

I hope the Homos hit that one because I intend to be there.

We’ve had enough. American is a Republic, not a Democracy, but we uphold Democratic (not party) values.

I’m not going to accept having Queer Propaganda shoved down my throat anymore. Any Faggot/Perverts attempting to promote their queer agenda will be politely engaged in a manner that will not be misunderstood.

The time for Patriots to stand in the shadows has passed. God Bless America!

Wouldn’t support of “separation of church and state” be the same as standing up for Chik Fil A’s rights to practice business as a Christian company despite the bullying of Democrats pols in Chicago, Boston, NY and SF?

Uhh, since when did Chick-fil-A become a "State" owned or affiliated company? My nap must have lasted longer than I intended for it to.

You better believe that Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day has the libtards absolutely quaking in their Birkenstocks. They didn't any of them expect the sort of turnout and support Chick-Fil-A received.

If they didn't like that, they're gonna really, really hate November. :)

 I want a t shirt that says Boycott My Business PLEASE! (I don’t have a business)

aside: We got a 25 pc chicken strip dinner tonight cause I didn’t want to feed the possums buns 2 nights in row (I know. I’m a little odd). 1. I didn’t know it came with tongs (& they not cheapy-cheesy, either) & 2. Yikes! It’s less than $1 a piece!

Aw geez. I don’t get it. Did the poll really say lunch & state? That wouldn’t make any sense, either. But it’s Austin. I love Austin (anyway. To shop & to eat), but I’m not sure they ever even pretend to make sense.

I saw this T-Shirt advertised today that made me laugh. It expresses exactly what many are thinking about the upcoming election.

I hope the support of Chick-fil-A wasn’t a one day shot.
