What crime was committed?
Is it a crime to be homeless?
If you become homeless, are you required to surrender your firearms to the authorities?
Is there a law limiting how many 22LR rounds you are allowed to possess?

This only goes to show that one should be prudent and not discuss what they do and do not have in terms of weapons and ammunition.

It is SF so who knows what you have to surrender now.

“Homeless man”? Think about it, the guy looses his job due to economic times, more than likely due to Obummers policies. He takes up residency in his car, the only thing he has left besides a few guns he collected over the years.

His “cache” was a shotgun, 22 rifle, two hand guns and plenty of plinking ammo. How many of the gun owners you know have a “cache” like this? Looks pretty normal to me. Now if he had 3 or 4 AK’s, several belts or clips full of armor piercing ammo, a few hand gernads, etc., I MIGHT consider that a “Cache”.

All in all I think the “cache” was over stated.

Huge? That’s not even enough to qualify as a “starter set”...

You have to remember this is SF so it is most likely colossal.

"high power weapons"

The power may have been slightly exaggerated by some prissy MSM reporter with his panties all wadded up in a wedgie.

Jeffrey Schaub needs to spend more time at Chick-Fil-A.

I have more guns than that in my car when I go to the range.

I don’t carry that much ammo but then I don’t live in my car.

"Suhr said in this instance, things turned out just as they should and that the most important thing was that the weapons were found"

These guys would likely be happy to throw some down, if it would help.

CBS San Fran says that is "a huge cache of guns" and "an array of high power weapons and ammunition."

Roger that. Not much of a "cache." Looks like a rifle, a shotgun, and a pistol. I think the other poster is right, the fourth "weapon" is actually a flare gun. Heck, I have more weapons than that within reach when I lay my head down to sleep.

Since when is it a crime to own a firearm? I read something about that once in the Bill of Rights...
