“I was amazed at how good the food was and how fast and polite the service was, even in pandemonium”

Chicken wraps and peach shakes. Mmmmm, good!

Yes, all understood.

The question would be as you note, whether they are inept and disorganized and not constant - or just cunningly strategic. Time will tell. I tend to think there is strategy in back of all.

extremely successful in taking what they do to each other physically out of the conversation.

You are exactly right. They dress it up in various ways, but this is what it all boils down to. And anyway all the emotional touchy-feely stuff is mostly a lie and a "hook" to draw in the sympathy of normal people, because they are extremely promiscuous as a group.

Just got back from my local Chick-fil-A. It’s lunchtime, crowds are brisk (but nothing like Wednesday) and not a protester to be seen. Looks like they will only be trying to have kissins in large cities or college towns where there may be a larger concentration of gays with nothing better to do than be ignored. I was greeted at the door by a manager and I told him how much we appreciate them.

I'm thinking about going there and kissing my dog.

BTW, our family NEVER before had lunch at CFA. Well, we did yesterday and will do so every week from now on. Their Chargrilled Chicken Garden Salad is only $5.98.

Yeah, they may be waiting for the 8 pm EST thing.

Also, it sounds like some of them are not even going to go into stores and buy anything - just kiss in front of the sign, take pic, leave, and post on Facebook. Some protest! How silly and cowardly...

It remains unclear whether this protest will generate the huge crowds that turned out Wednesday to a show of support for the company's CEO...

Unclear? Not because the press isn't trying to help gays as much as possible. Did the MSM carry a story Tuesday - a day ahead of time - or the morning of - our protest? No. They kept as quiet as they could ... and we still showed up.

With the gay 'community' the LA TIMES runs the story about their protest the day before hand and the morning of... Like a PR press release.

The MSM will be there for the gays with reporters and photographers. All the 'community' has to do is call them and say, 'we'll do the kiss at 11 - so show up on time'... Must be nice to be the teacher's pet. Must be nice to work for a paper that doesn't care about all their readers - just the liberal elite ones...

Shame on the MSM -shame on them.

That's what I had for lunch Wednesday - with the fat free honey mustard dressing which was delicious!

...just got back from CFA in suburban Southeastern Pennsylvania. I did not see any...

Gays don't have to do a real protest - the press works with them.

Here's how they'll do it... A member of the 'community' will call a friend at the local paper and tell them 14 gays will show up at 11 AM and will do the 'kiss' at 11:15 and the paper and local TV stations need to be there on time... they'll tell them which Chick-fil-A - that the paper can get all their shots at one location... At 11:30 the whole fake 'protest' will be over and the press will leave. Then they'll play it as big or bigger than the real protest of hundreds of thousands of people showing up in support of traditional marriage.

Ask yourself, would the press allow us to pull off a fake protest with a dozen people showing up for less than a half hour at one Chick-fil-A in each large city?

The Washington Post, New York Times, Newsweek, LA Times, ABC and NBC are throwing their credibility away faster than we can be furious...

Of course they will. Two kissers, eight cameramen, fifteen reporters, breathless news stories about a social movement gathering steam. The decision has already been made that this will be a story, by journalists who see themselves not as reporters but as agents of social change.

And frankly, I'm OK with that. The more this is forced on an unwilling public, the greater the reaction will be three months from now. They want change? Well, change is coming.

Yes, shame on the MSM.

On the other hand, on Aug 1 their attitude really put our side at an advantage:

They have been delusional and biased for so long, and have been spin-doctoring news for so long, that they really & truly, i believe, had no idea what massive support would turn out on Wed.

They operate in a self-deluded vacume and have a mutual-admiration society with gays and liberals. In a sense, this puts us at an advantage because they truly do not see reality.

So let them spin the kiss-in. They will get a shock in the coming days and months.

Arlington, Texas. Went for breakfast. Busy but no homos apparent. The police started setting up barricades, etc., to manage traffic flow about an hour ago in anticipation of the Gay Mafiosi showing up.

RE :”The question would be as you note, whether they are inept and disorganized and not constant - or just cunningly strategic. Time will tell. I tend to think there is strategy in back of all.

Well let's look at the second possibility closer and gilb0 will appreciate this, the us-versus-them mode that the parties get most of their own voters into by preaching that the other side is evil lends itself to Republicans (or Dems with their Lib issues) convincing them (voters) that they (the party)really want to pass these conservative things but were foiled by the evil other side. So it is the voters and MSM fault because the party doesnt have enough power.
Of course when Republicans DID have the congress and the POTUS 2005 to 2006 the stuff they did pass was hardly gold. But they are different now so trust them, again

I recall a popular Republican excuse here for GWB supporting and signing liberal type bills with Democrats was “...but Democrats wanted Bush to do that....” . Another was “If he didnt do that the Democrats would have attacked him”.

I never found theses excuses very convincing.

I can see the Chick-Fil-A from my store’s front window. I’ll keep checking and report if it gets weird.

No, the excuses were not convincing.

And still aren’t.

Just drove by the Chick Fil A on Winchester Road in Memphis and didn’t see any heterophobes. Of course Memphis is about as far away from Castro Street as you can get. The same CFA was packed beyond belief on Wednesday around this time.

Horrible, horrible writing.

The writer can't count either.

The move comes after thousands of restaurant supporters

Thousands??? If they didn't serve over a million people yesterday, I'd be very surprised.
