President Barack Obama's reelection campaign distanced itself on Wednesday from a harsh—and misleading—ad that effectively ties Mitt Romney's business decisions to a woman's cancer death. But neither the campaign nor the White House passed judgment on the vicious commercial, which emerged from a super PAC backing Obama.
"We have nothing, no involvement, with any ads that are done by Priorities USA. We don't' have any knowledge of the story of the family," Obama campaign spokeswoman Jen Psaki told reporters aboard Air Force One.
"As you know, campaign finance rules in that regard are in place for a reason," she said, referring to laws forbidding outside groups from coordinating with the presidential campaigns.

How is this ad any different from Obama saying that his mother died of ovarian cancer because she was rejected for treatment by her health care provider? Which was, of course, a lie. Seems that Barry's people are using the same play book.

The ad is RADIOACTIVE, and the Obama camp knows it. If the Obama people had a lick of sense, they would proceed to do a character assassination on this Bill Burton, using all the proven David Axelrod methods.
Wait a minute. These ARE the David Axelrod methods. Then all the propositions in the previous paragraph stand. The Obama people do NOT have a lick of sense, Bill Burton will be able to double down on this wild assertion, and move on to even more unreal and outrageous attacks, all with the full blessing of the godfather, David Axelrod.
And every bit of this is being bankrolled by - George Soros. We all know how much Soros HATED the Bushes, on a visceral level, so obviously allowing George Soros to be continually driven to distraction by the Bush family, ends up with this all being on Dubya’s head, for making poor Mr. Soros so agitated that he was driven - DRIVEN - to destroy all that America stood for.

Why is it that in reading this I have this vision of Karl Rove yelling “Cry Havoc! And let slip the dogs of war!” ?
This lets Romney off the hook for all the ads put out by anti Obama superpacs. If someone wants to run ads about the birth certificate, Columbia and Harvard records, ties to Wright, Ayres, Marshall and the Chicago Communist Party, all Romney has to answer with is a citation of this non denial.
Mr. Obama is a professional agitator, and these are some of his front men. We are not going to be able to beat these gutter fighters unless we shed our genteel postures and get down to business.
