"Items get mixed up sometimes, but never on this scale," Horvitz told DCist. "I didn't think I was getting into a gun/electronics dealer."
The poor gun dealer is going to be getting a visit from the BATF.
I am sure this Horvitz will be getting a visit as well and he will at the very least be spending a lot of uncompensated time talking to investigators and lawyers.
If he is smart he will soon have a lawyer of his own.
Horvitz’s name and address were on the mailing label. But inside the box, an invoice contained the address of a Pennsylvania gun shop.
Since Amazon doesn’t sell artillery, this seller must have been doing the gun business on the side. Anyhow the wrong label got stuck on the box. In a sane country they’d just send him postage to return it and that would be that. Instead they treat these silly guns (which sans ammo cannot shoot any more than your little boy’s finger can) like nuclear hazardous waste.
