A tea party group’s political message on a billboard here has unified local Democrats and Republicans, generating bipartisan criticism.
The heads of the two parties here even used similar language in blasting the sign.
“I say I’m appalled,” said Dale Stickel, head of the Elkhart County Republican Party.
“I think it’s appalling,” said Shari Mellin, head of the Elkhart County Democratic Party.
The message in question, from We the People of Marshall and Fulton Counties, a tea party group, appears on a billboard at the busy intersection of Nappanee Street and John Weaver Parkway, where Nappanee curves into Bristol Street. It depicts a group of armed military men splashing through water and says this:
“The Navy SEALs removed one threat to America... The voters must remove the other.”

It’s too watered down for me.
The message seems too conciliatory to me.
Sounds like they have a problematic local GOP-E.
Obama’s minions can be disgusting as they dare. Obama shrugs “Don’t blame me”.
I don’t see where it’s so bad. People who think Oboma is damaging the country would agree with it. What’s the big deal? Is the sign too close to the truth? leave it up. Let the voters decide.
Frankly, I’m not surprised that leftists and establishment GOP would be appalled at the billboard.
But, there is nothing offensive in the message that I see . . . . . . . . . unless truth is offensive - which we know it is to liberals and RINOs (Department of Redundancy Department).
Time politicians of ALL stripes realized the public is “Mad as Hades, and won’t take it anymore”.
Yeah, people are appalled! Give me a break. There was a lot worse going on when Bush was in office and nobody on the left gave a cr—. Many even thought it was funny. They just like to pretend they can still be shocked at something.
Definition of BIPARTISAN: Only when Republicans capitulate to Democrats.
Call me when the billboard shows Imam Obama in full mozzie garb climbing into bed with Larry Sinclair. And a pile of murdered mexicans by the nightstand.

The problem with th billboard is that it is inaccurate. President Ladies Tee killed Osama Bin Laden all by himself. Just ask him...
Interesting that when the movie was made about actually killing GW Bush both groups said “freedom of speech”.
Obama is trashing and destroying our nation and everyone is pissed off about this billboard?
If I were a liberal, I’d be laughing, smiling and flipping everyone the bird too..........
