If History proved this, as you say, we would still be part of England. Our forefathers were not a well regulated militia until they had to be. They were just a bunch of guys with guns.

One of the tenants of conservatism is understanding human nature and history. I qualified this with the word mostly and hope for the exemptions.
BUT, I have experienced standing up for what is right and I STOOD ALONE, and I thought I was surrounded by men of like mind.
