Fist they imply she decided not to speak at the conventon, then they say she was not invited to speak.

Which is it?

Romney tried to destroyed her in 2008.
I want to see Palin pain in butt for Romney in case he gets elected.

The moment the words "anyone but Obama" escaped her lips, the GOP(e) no longer had need of her, and so they've turned their backs to her. I say this in warning to all the genuine conservatives that will vote for Romney. Expect no different treatement from them than what they've delivered to Mrs. Palin. Your vote is the only thing of value you have to them. Once they possess it, they will continue on with the agenda they embrace, not the one we embrace. Believe it. You've seen it. Several times.

Or being the smart politician she is, Ms Palin decided that her presence would be a distraction. Going would also tie her in a lot of tea partiers eyes to the GOP Establishment. She is much more effective is she maintenance her position as an outsider to, rather then as part of, the GOP machine.

I found it interesting that Sarah made a campaign ad for Sarah Steelman in Missouri instead of Todd Akin. Based on what I know of the two, Akin is the more conservative.

Steelman lost to Akin, by the way. Not sure what message we are to glean from that.

Sarah is all about doing what is best for the country. She is not a grudge-holding establishment type. On a related note, I got a call from the RNC last night looking for cash. I told the guy I was no longer ever going to donate to the party at large. All of my donations from now on will only be to individual campaigns that I feel best represent my values. I told him the GOP establishment no longer represents the things that I value.

Exactly, which is why I fear that a vote for Romney is a vote for Obama-Lite.

She did a fine job of destroying herself with that Couric interview. She actually cited that she could almost see Russia from her house when asked about foreign policy credentials. You and I both know she isn’t stupid, but first impressions are nearly impossible to overcome, that was the first most people saw of her, and that was perhaps the worst response to a question ever.

Rift? The past four years taught me that, after a lifetime of exclusively voting Republican, the GOP no longer represents me nor my interests. The Tea Party, which occasionally bisects the GOP, does. Only representatives of the latter will get my support and my vote. No more pro-forma voting for some generic “R” candidate out of habit, just because some noxious “D” is on the other side. I’ve had it with the backstabbing bastards of the GOP-E. They can rot in hell.

I know some section of american people lack commonsense , understanding of reference or phrase usage. If they can’t figure out what she is referring, its not her fault, It is poor schooling and bad teachers.

She was referring that Russia is neighboring country and one deal with neighbor everyday. When state is on International border, they have to deal with other countries. Russia is not a small or peaceful country.

Its very difficult to educate to close minds, whatever reasons, poor teachers, education, parents or just close minded or slow.

"For this reason, it was notable when she initially offered only a lukewarm reaction to Romney’s selection of Ryan. "

Where do these "Journalists" get this stuff?

As far as I've seen, Sarah was very enthusiastic about Ryan from the outset.

I want to see a REVOLT at the convention, Rombag tossed, and Palin take his place.

She is the leader of the Tea Party....She will be free to speak out if Mittens gets to far of track...Ryan may turn out to be a good pick for VP....he can keep Mittens on track....then again they can just stuff him in an office somewhere..maybe they will make Sara head of the EPA or Energy Dept

You hit that one right on the head.

Liberal Republicans hold conservatives in far, far more contempt than they do Democrats. I have seen it lots of times here in the state of Kansas in my 12 years or so here. If a squishy Republican gets nominated, conservatives are coerced into voting for the RINO by the party but if a conservative wins the primary, "country-club" Republicans will walk in mass. Jim Ryun and Lynn Jenkins provide an excellent example of that a few years ago. Mutual support is not a two-way street in their minds.

I'm afraid that Paul Ryan is simply window-dressing to draw over Tea Party supporters. If Romney wins, Paul Ryan will have as much influence in the Romney Administration as the WH janitor.

Your point?

Rombag and the entire GOP establishment are slime. At least Ryan’s okay. Romney is vile. Anyone who doesn’t feel extreme loathing for him is a disgusting RINO sycophant.

There is only one thing that would cause me to vote for Willard and that is a public apology to and request for forgiveness from Sarah for the four years of trash he had his people dish her. Short of that I dont care if he made me his vice president I still wont vote for him. He is a lying scumbag. The lesser of two evils is still evil.

I’m not a fan either, but he isn’t going to be replaced at the republican convention. Your choices are Romney, Obama, 3rd Party, or stay home.
