LAKEWOOD, Colo--Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan took the stage before 2,600 supporters at Lakewood High School Tuesday to promote Mitt Romney's energy proposals, but he had another agenda.
Interlaced throughout his speech were subtle, but clear, references to Ryan's common-man appeal. Over the course of his nearly 20-minute address, Ryan discussed working at McDonald's, shelling out more than $100 at the pump to fill up his gas tank, camping and fishing with his family, climbing the Colorado "14'ers"--a reference to the state's mountain peaks above 14,000 feet--and that he recently taught his boys "how to cook a meal on the fire."

Driving the Choom wagon in high school is one of the few things besides golf, basketball and the Rolling Stones, that I like about 0bama.
I relate to that statement, it sucks. As I see it I have a couple of options:
1) buy a "car"; something I would never want or wish on anyone that is unwilling
or
2) Elect a team that would put in policy that would allow gas to hopefully get back down to pre-dumbo levels (< $2.00/gal)
I choose the latter and that resonates with me!
Obama drives a Prius or a East German Trabant? I think that was the name of the Commie car. Prius is more like it. He’s a homo.
My wife is driving a 400 dollar 97 caravan I bought at a salvage auction. replaced the tail gate and rear bumper and it’s like new. Been a good van, lots of power. We went from MPLS to billings MT and back with out issue.
we are leaving Friday with it for a 500 mile trip as well.
The new ones (08 and up) are flat out junk. All the ones I have driven have poor build quality. wind noise and rattles. As an added bonus, in town, you can actually watch the gas gauge move towards empty as you drive.
I’m going to guess a Toyota Prius with one of those obnoxious co-exist stickers and a hammer and sickle. Oh and I shouldn’t forget the Obama stickers that all Prius drivers in CO have on their cars.
I have a thirty gallon tank in my GMC 2500 and its about 130 to fill. It is painful but I remember every time I fill it what and who are responsible for our gas problem. The Rat Bastard Democrats, Rinos and Environazis.

Are you from Boulder or has all of CO become that way? I used to there and I am not trying to be insulting but CO in the 80’s was a great place to be.
Our local radio guys here were wishing the ticket could be reversed. I am not opposed to that.
A lot of us said that about the McCain/Palin ticket.
