As the Biden-Clinton chatter swirls, best-selling author Edward Klein says the White House has “put out feelers” to the Clinton camp about the veep spot.
Here’s the transcript from CNBC’s The Kudlow Report:
KLEIN: Larry, just before we went on the air tonight, I checked with my sources in the Clinton camp and I took notes because I want to be careful. And here is what they told me: Up until just a couple of weeks ago, the White House was putting out feelers to see if Hillary would accept the vice-presidential nod and replace Joe Biden. Bill Clinton was, I’m told, urging his wife to accept the number-two slot. He saw this as a great launching pad for her for running in 2016. But, then, Hillary had lunch in the White House a couple of weeks ago with Valerie Jarrett, Michelle’s best friend, senior adviser to both the first lady and the president. And she told Valerie Jarrett that she would not accept the vice-president spot. The lunch was ostensibly about other matters, but it came up. The vice-presidential thing came up. Hillary felt burned out after four years as secretary of state. But I’m told there were more important reasons for her not accepting.
KUDLOW: Such as?
KLEIN: Number one, she felt that if she were on the ticket with Obama and he lost, she would be tarred as a loser when she tried to run in 2016. On the other hand, if she was on the ticket and he won, and he continued his far, left-wing socialistic policies, she would have to defend those policies when she ran in 2016.

It was established long ago that when Billy boy forcibly had sex with a woman which the law acknowleges as rape, he would tell the woman, “Put some ice on that and don’t worry about getting pregnant, I’m sterile.”
There were a lot of women who came forward claiming Clinton sexually assaulted them but only one woman came forward claiming that Clinton had fathered a child by her which was some very dubious story involving a kid by the name of Danny Williams and no woman claimed that they had had to abort a child fathered by Clinton.
Clinton was a rapist and a liar who rarely told the truth but he most likely was telling the truth when he claimed that he was sterile.
Hillary did the crime at Lincoln Savings and Loan and Webster Hubbell did the time.
It was most likely because Webster manned up because he would rather do the time than to see the mother of his child do the time.
Palin is not finished and she is helping quite a few rebellious US Senators and Representatives win races against McCain elitist in the primaries. And this presidency was Palin's for the taking. Heck, anyone they run against Obama could win right now. Look at how good that RINO Romney is even doing.
Gosh all I can say is she is extremely smart...if that is her reasoning those are some legitimate points and I would not want to be on the ticket either! After all if Obama does win and his 4 years are over no one would vote for Biden...smart gal!

While the announcement of Bill’s major role at the Dem’s convention was awfully suspicious, I cannot believe Obama really wants to risk having Hillary as VP. More likely they are just angling to neutralize her and flatter her supporters by implying they are offering it to her. The Obama campaign played the VP selection for mega free publicity in 2008, and no doubt will try to repeat somehow in 2012. Obama is running scared and his go-to move is throwing someone under the bus. Since Biden has no constituency whatsoever, tossing him out has only two downsides: being humiliated by taking Palin’s “advice”, and having to explain why Obama made such a poor choice in 2008. The initiative must appear to come from Biden. So, will he announce newly discovered health problems that, much as Obama wants him to continue, preclude a second term (Acute Intelligence Deficit Syndrome is an easy diagnosis)? If the replacement is not Hillary!, who would the Dems see as a real game changer?
