Court documents reveal that the victim of an alleged vicious sexual assault remembers some of the suspects telling her about being unhappy with the way they were treated in the United States. Five Iraqi nationals were arrested in connection with the case.

Two are charged with the crime while all five are charged as accessories with the crime. Some of the victim’s injuries were described by police as being “rarely seen.”

"I can tell you this is one of the most horrific sexual assaults I've seen in my career as a police officer," said Lt. Howard Black with the Colorado Springs Police Department.

---snip---

According to the affidavit of probable cause, the victim described a conversation with the men that centered on how unhappy they were with the treatment they received in the United States. The men also spoke about “the Untied States oppressing them and calling them terrorists.” --snip--- In the following days, several of the suspects were re-interviewed. In the end, Sarmad Fadhi Mohammed and Jasim Mohammed Hassin Ramadon were arrested for both the sexual assault and being accessories to the crime. Mustafa Sataar Al Feraji, Ali Mohammed Hasan Al Juboori and Yasir Jabbar Jasim were also arrested and charged as accessories.

All of the suspects obtained a lawful permanent resident status within the past five years.

Here is an overview of rape as a capital offence at http://www.abajournal.com/magazine/article/death_for_rape_an_echo_of_the_past/.

I remember growing up in WV in the 1950s rape was a capital crime.

The right thing would be put them on a one way trip back to their country.

Or to Hell! Wait! Not all that much difference. Send 'em to Hell, anyway.

I think capital punishment ought to be re-instituted for rape of an adult woman. With certain stipulations.

First, if it is shown the woman is lying, she should suffer whatever the penalty for attempted murder is.

Second, the evidence must be clear. “She said, he said”, just won’t cut it. this will pretty much rule out “date rape”, and drunken party stuff. Forcible stranger rape would be what got the death penalty.

There might be a few more reasonable stipulations that I am not thinking about right now. I would be glad to hear them.

Grab the Muzzies responsible, take them out to the woods, tether them to trees, stick bacon in their clothes, and let the Grizzly Bears have them for snacks. Yummy. No fuss, muss, bother, or residue to clean up. And, the five Muzzies don't get the 72 virgins!

More info:

Ramadon, one of the men accused of the sexual assault, was featured in “A Soldier’s Promise,” a 2009 combat memoir penned by Army First Sgt. Daniel Hendrex about the time he spent deployed in the Iraqi town of Husaybah. Hendrex described helping Ramadon in his effort to immigrate to the U.S. in exchange for vital information the youngster — 14 at the time — provided Hendrex’s unit about local insurgents.
