All his pro-life credentials will be especially helpful when he’s unemployed and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is not allowing Romney’s candidate for the Supreme Court to go through.

And once again another created "crisis" turns to bite Democrats in the jackass.

I love it!

“Great to see the Rep. Akin will not succumb to the whims of the Yellow Bellied RINO’s who what the destroy a man who has worked his entire life for the Pro Life Movement and Conservatism.”

“Yes! Major gaffes involving junk science are sure fire ways to advance both!”

Akin won the GOP Primary Fair and Square and has proven himself to be an election winner and a staunch defender of Life!

He will set the Pro-Life movement back years by being a stubborn ego-maniac and an ass.

He screwed up, and he needs to stand down for the good of all that he claims to believe in.

Do you people never learn? People were saying this same crap about Sharon Angle and Christine O’Donnell when many people saw that they were basically unelectable. Akin is unelectable. What you’re not counting on is that a man who said something SO stupid, won’t say something equally stupid that will further hurt himself and the GOP.

It’s what stupid people do, stupidity is a habit, not a one-time isolated event and Akin is about as dumb as they come.

I’m listening to Rush and he says that this is the guy McCaskill wanted to run against and many Democrats voted for him in the primary.

‘Who’s going to flood the polls to vote for him... old white men?”

Old men and one issue voters who want a martyr.

He is a no hoper with money cut off. Soon all his senior staff will be gone because they are loyal to the party and not a pariah candidate. You can’t run a senate campaign with no money and no staff.

.....who what the destroy a man who has worked his entire life for the Pro Life Movement and Conservatism.

...Who says really idiotic things such as women don't get pregnant from rape because their bodies magically close up and prevent that from happening. Never mind the long, horrible history of conquering armies raping the vanquished and leaving huge numbers of pregnant women in their wake.

Akin is simply an idiot and it is very clear now why McCaskill and the Democrats poured a couple million bucks into the GOP primaries on his behalf.

What you suggest demonstrates your own version of "tunnel vision." One blunder does not justify a candidate who has won a primary contest, simply abandoning those who worked & supported him in the Primary, because his road has become more difficult.

I do not know what the issues were in the Republican Primary in Missouri. I do not know, were I a Missourian--and this really was my business, rather than merely something I am witnessing--whether he would have had my support in the Primary, or not. But this absolute panic for others, many not from Missouri, either, to force him to quit, is very, very poorly considered.

You are creating a division that does not need to happen. The man needs to counsel with his supporters, make his decision, and then everyone needs to move on. Any other course simply magnifies any damage from his poor choice of words.

Of course, I know that the Leftist Democrats will try to make hay out of this. But people on our side should not be helping them by this internal squabble.

Again, I know nothing about Mr. Akin or any of the other things he believes in--or whether I could personally support him, if I did. I do understand tactics.

Why have primaries then? Just let the GOPe select our candidates. I’m sure they know best.

Actually the Democrats won. They WANTED this guy to stay on, McCaskill spent $2 million on ads backing him in the primary, she was practically frantic yesterday, complaining about the “GOP party big-wigs” asking her patsy to stand down. She knew he was a chump from the beginning, what’s it say about certain posters here who still can’t see it.

The Washington Post and MSNBC are practically gloating right now.

Why is it that Democrats in trouble have no problem “taking one for the team”, but Republicans try to hang on? Doesn’t this guy get it?

proven himself to be ... a staunch defender of Life!

Which is completely meaningless when his pride and stupid mouth help get a pro-abortion Democrat elected. The comment above about reality is spot-on.

No,because I see this guy for the idiot he is, and that he will continue to be an idiot and make inappropriate comments that the media throws back at the GOP as whole, that he’s going to cost the GOP what was widely considered the most “winnable” Democrat seat in the Senate at minimum. If you still can’t see that, well then, I feel sorry for you.

A woman's body doesn't "shut down". It actually goes into overdrive!

stress hormones miscarriage cortisol

A pregnant woman under stress, and having a baby from an act of rape has to be (I'm not a woman so that's opinion) stressful on a woman, produces higher levels of cortisol which increases the risk of miscarriage.

Simply looking into this a little bit would reduce a lot of this mistaken commentary.

Would you like to dance with me on the science?
