The vindictive side of me is hanging on for him to do it in public and on camera, so that I can play it again and again every November. ;>)
We will have an early in the month ‘Turkey day’ and then Thanksgiving.
I’d be willing to pay extra to see the entire family cry all at the same time.
I think there’s about a 50% chance it will be on camera. My bet is that it will be triggered by some unscripted event - a question that he wasn’t expecting, a heckler, teleprompter malfunction, something with the dog, etc.
Ideally it would be something self-inflicted. Nothing makes a narcissist angrier than realizing he is publicly wrong and not being able to blame it on someone else. (not that he wouldn’t try)
If something happened that made him look foolish in public, he wouldn’t be able to bear it. Something like “corpse-man” only bigger. Plus it would have to be something where he was smart enough to know he’d been made a fool of in real time. With “corpse-man” he was blissfully unaware.
I’m also thinking there might be a series of minor meltdowns leading up to it. I think he’s wound up tight and getting tighter.
The general decrease in sycophantic adoration has got to be grating on him. A narcissist like him needs that constant worship and he’s not getting enough any more to fuel his fragile ego.
I’m just hoping the trigger isn’t a heckler or something that can be blamed on conservatives. I’d prefer to see a hissy fit over a teleprompter glitch.
Wouldn’t it be fascinating if he lost it during one of the debates?
