It's weird that TMZ would leave out all the relevant elements of the story:

The police were called to the fast food restaurant because they at the store were alarmed and disturbed by the guys behavior.
When Police get there he tells them he's having issues in his life and he's been snorting bath salts.
They take him to a motel to sleep it off.
The police get called later because he left his motel and was alarming and disturbing other people in public in the middle of a road. When they made contact with them again he acted like an animal and made threatening advances at them.

This is not the first report on this by TMZ.

The police story doesn’t make sense.

They claim he fit the description of someone who was committing theft. That is why they apprehended him. They also claim they took him to a motel because he was sleepy.

Now, they are going to claim he was high on bath salts.

The clue here is that he has NOT been prosecuted.

Cops are trying to cover their butts.

Yeah, because that's what cops do.

Where is the source for this information? The only other link I can see for this besides the TMZ link is a story on Bloomberg where the victim’s lawyer is patently denying “bath salts.” No mention of fast food, behavior or confessions by the victim....
