Rosie O'Donnell secretly married her girlfriend Michelle Rounds in June.
The talk show host revealed the surprising news on her blog Rosie.com on Monday, explaining the couple brought their nuptials forward after Rounds was diagnosed with desmoid tumours, a rare and often fatal disease, which only affects three in every one million people.
O'Donnell wrote: "My wife Michelle was diagnosed with desmoid tumors in June, a mysterious rare -- too often fatal -- disease that affects 3 in a million people
"We were to wed 10 days ago but her illness forced us to postpone the wedding. Luckily -- as I was in ICU that day --we married in private before her surgery just the two of us."
Although the ceremony in New York City wasn't attended by friends and family due to the circumstances, the happy couple are planning a huge celebration with their loved ones as soon as possible.

any time I hear anyone state that two homosexuals are married I correct them as they are not.
They can pretend to play happy families, pretend to be married but most of us know they’re not and the media always does this.
