“Didnt she align with zero after he was elected?”
Even worse; I believe all indications were that she actually voted for Hussein. I don’t trust her, either. (Her speech was good, though.)
Yeah, we know what team she plays on.
“Pulease.”
My thoughts exactly. I’ll side with Rumsfeld on this one. And big deal on the no teleprompter. Sarah did it, too; and on her first big speech—not her 100th.
I suppose you are correct that she is not a flaming liberal, simply another of the “modern” GOP average liberals, in favor of abortion, illegals, and giving Muslims special rights.
Be very careful. Didn’t she and Colin Powell both vote for Obama last time?
Regardless of what you think of her politics, Rice has always been a star. That’s how talented and intelligent she is.
No, no and NO. Condi gave a wonderful speech last night and it deserves the praise it’s receiving. That does not mean she is a politician. My sense is she’s realized just where “Hope and Change” has taken us, that she’s profoundly worried about it and feels strongly enough to SPEAK up about it in a strong and public way.
I would not be inclined to vote for her. Not ALL of our public figures are suited to politics.
If she was a white male named “Dr. Connor Rice” with the same mediocre record as Secretary of State and RINOish beliefs (pro-abortion, pro-illegal alien, pro LOST treaty, praised Obama’s election in 2008, etc.), freepers wouldn’t give him the time of day and “Dr. Connor Rice” speech would be as well received as Chris Shays or John McCain.

...or Chris Christie? ...or Mitt Romney?
i agree with you. and i like Condi and Mitt. they are nice people, with a great story. ...but to be honest, none of them are going to do anything, about conservative issues.
...but i’d vote for any of them, even Condi, to save us from 4 more years of “hope and change”...
RE: Didnt she and Colin Powell both vote for Obama last time?
Can you cite me the reliable source that tells us that she said she voted for Obama?
She has said on numerous occasions she does not want to run for office, is not going to run for office! She is not a "politician."
The only position I've ever heard her campaign for is NFL Commissioner. She is very open about wanting that job.
RE: I believe all indications were that she actually voted for Hussein.
Indications such as what?
Yes she definitely wants to be the NFL commissioner. I wonder why she has not gone for it yet.
Rush, or somebody, said he had read a paper that she had written about the NFL and she would be an excellent commissioner.
For some reason every time CSPAN would show her on tv last nite I got the feeling she was spying on the enemy.
With all due respect to Ms. Rice, I don’t trust anyone who has spent their entire life in academia and government. This country ended up being run by useless bureaucrats by turning to “leaders” like this.
“spent their entire life in academia and government.”
Sounds a lot like someone else I know.....Do I have to say it?
LOL. In that case, it was academia, government and foreign Islamic schools.
There was a lot of buzz about this back in ‘08; I don’t recall all the details. There are tons of references about this online. Just Google CONDOLEEZZA RICE VOTED FOR OBAMA and you’ll get info. Whether true or not, only she and God know for sure.
Guess what, Condi fans? You agree with Chrissy Matthews!
“Condis speech was presidential. Best address of the convention.”

Condi should definitely be the NFL Commissioner.
