Chris Matthews was on Hardball tonight covering the Republican National Convention with guests Eugene Robinson of the Washington Post and John Heilemann of New York Magazine. In what is seemingly the natural progression of things these days with Matthews, the subject of the 'otherization' of the President was being discussed. Because, if you weren't aware already, Barack Obama is black, and any time a Republican chooses to discuss the failure that is his administration, the media will be there to quickly remind you that they only feel that way because of his skin color.

The left constantly tries to control the terms, language, and parameters of the debate.
They try to make certain words off-limits to their opposition, while they retain the right to use any words they like, no matter how offensive or inappropriate.
They try to declare certain speakers, or sources, illegitimate, while they pick and choose any sources they like, even if those sources object (or would object if they were alive) to being so used.
Actually "Racist" and "Racism" are the 21st Century's transliteration of the 20th Century words "Wrecker," "Enemy of the People," and "Thought Criminals."

Is he saying that “go back to Chicago” means, go back to being a community organizer in the ghetto? Otherwise, I don’t how invoking Chicago is racist. Whites still outnumber blacks (45% to 32%). Plus, with Chicago’s checkered and sordid poltical history, most people know what invoking Chicago means, and it has nothing to do with race.

Guess I’ve got really big problems. Where do I say I was born? Does my U.S. Passport become prohibited since it lists Chicago as my birth place. I think that Mr. Garbage Mouth Matthews should be put on trial for hate speech. Actually, he should be strapped into a strait jacket, locked within a rubber room and be forced to watch “24” from episode 1 to the end then start over again!
It is not that Obama is black or half black, I dislike his white side too.
