The White House said on Thursday that Iran has a limited window of time to accept the West's conditions regarding its nuclear weapons program.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney told reporters the U.S. is "closely studying" the UN International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) quarterly report on Iran, "but broadly speaking it is not surprising that Iran is continuing to violate its obligations."

"As the report illustrates," he added, "we are in a position to closely observe Iran's program."

Carney said the US has told Iran that "The window of opportunity to resolve this remains open ... but it will not remain open indefinitely."

Sure. Right after they blow up a city, there'll be very little left to talk about.

Obviously a harshly worded letter is in the works.

The inactivity of this administration is beyond belief.

Yeah, let's say about the 1st of October, so the President can demonstrate he's strong on foreign policy.... just in time for the election.

White House: Iran has ‘Limited Window’ for Talks

Yeah, until January 20th, 2013 when this country rids itself of this skid mark of an administration.

This White House will leave that window open forever if they get a vote. I’m hoping that the voters will toss the anti-Semitic thug out of our White House before Iran detonates their first bomb but also that Israel will act before we know the results of this election. The free world cannot afford to permit Iran to go nuclear. While it’ll be mostly liberals in our cities who are destroyed, I value their lives too much to be happy with Obama letting them die because of some quirk in his liberal world view.

Un-limited is more correct and that has been the policy to date.

This guy doesn’t have the sack to do anything about Iran. There are no guarantees that this guy (0) will even succeed if indeed he decides to do this. The media and mind set is that he will do this and some how it will be a bounce for him.

Leave it to 0 to make a serious issue political but I never expect much more.

Huge opportunity for Osama Obama to wag the dog in some way.Saw something from Israel recently saying that the WH is pressuring Israel regarding the timing of an attack to somehow help Osama in November.

If the IDF has any smart people, and they do, the plans they are disclosing to the US are decoys, designed to disorient the Iranian defense plans.

“Sure. Right after they blow up a city, there’ll be very little left to talk about.”

Diplomacy, in this day and age, rarely serves any purpose except to enable our enemy.

As I say, diplomacy is war by other means. Its proponents have thoroughly discredited it, and that means war is all that’s left, which is a pity. The idiots have won. Surrender.
