Hollywood may be bashing Clint Eastwood's performance at the GOP convention, but Rush Limbaugh said Friday the reason is that he touched a nerve with leftist celebrities — and with the president himself.
Pointing to the photo the Obama camp tweeted after midnight showing the back of the president's head above the office chair in the Oval Office, Mr. Limbaugh said that proves the White House was worried. And he wondered whether it was Mr. Obama himself.
"It must have gotten to him because he tweeted at 12:30," Mr. Limbaugh said Friday on his radio program.

Eastwood pointed out obama’s nastiness when he mentioned the negative ads he’s been seeing.
The “empty” chair also pointed out that with Obama it’s as if we had no president.
How stupid can they be? They respond to Eastwood’s jabs by showing a photo of a huge chair that just cries “Photoshop!” canvas. On top of that their twitter comment reeks of the smack-down line that Brown gave: “That’s not Ted Kennedy’s or anybody else’s seat. That is the people’s seat.” Of course Clint said essentially the same thing.
The interesting thing about the delivery (ie, slightly disheveled hair, slight off-the-cuff stammering, overall “senior” style) is that it took “anger” completely out of the equation. Slickly groomed hair and Dirty Harry-style delivery, even a finger pointed gun-style would have fit the narrative the DNC has been trying to create, of those angry right-wingers. They were probably waiting for his trademark steely-eyed glare and “Make my day” so they could pounce with their headlines. Now they don’t know what to do.
