Thanks. It's time to put this issue to rest. We need this Senate seat and like it or not, Akin will be the guy with the (R) after his name. I'm counting on the fact that Americans have short attention spans and if the MSM keeps pressing the issue, they'll hopefully discover that the only voters who continue to be outraged over Akin's comment were those that had no intention of voting for him to begin with.

That’s the thing with democracy. Conservatives understand that our fellow citizens and elected public serpents who we trust to be temporary stewards are flawed like the rest of us. That’s why we and the framers of our Republic gave them LIMITED powers.
