Axelrod says GOP convention in Tampa was a 'terrible failure'

Obama campaign senior adviser David Axelrod called the Republican convention a "terrible failure" on Sunday and said the event had failed to help Mitt Romney in the polls.

Speaking on Fox News, Axelrod said he "saw no movement" for Romney in the polls during the GOP convention. "I don't really see any bounce," he said.

Axelrod added that the GOP's "snarky attacks and bromides for the base" in Tampa had put Democrats in a strong position to begin their own convention this week in Charlotte, N.C.

"I think the race is exactly where it was before they walked in [to Tampa], and now it's our turn," he said.

“Wishcasting” is the perfect term.

It’s only anecdotal, but everyone I knew who watched the convention was fired up.

Axelgrease is paid to say that. It’s his job. I don’t really think it’s newsworthy. Nobody in their right mind would expect that freak to say that it was a giant success. Geeeesh! The “media” has to think we’re all morons like Obama supporters are.

In other news, Axelrod also stated:

The sun is cold
Daylight only occurs at night
Cows can fly
Dogs meow
Milk comes from rocks
As long as you have grass, don’t complain you have nothing to eat
The middle-class is doing just great
Obama has been a great president
The economy is buzzing along at an incredible speed
We’ve created more jobs than President Ronald Reagan
We have more friends around the world today, than we did in 2008
Our military is stronger than ever before
Our Navy is stronger than it was in 2008
Arab states in the Middle-East adore us
Russia and China are two of our best allies
Britain sucks

I’ll stop here, bandwidth and all...

Suffice it to say, I consider Axelrod to be an enemy of our nation.

He is exhibiting the classic Obama approach. The tactic they use is “optimistic talk”. The way they handled the problem with the Islamic world, the economy, green jobs, etc, all reflect this approach.
They believe that if they talk as though it is getting better, that soon it will actually become better because people will start to believe it.

“Fake it till you make it”, on a national scale.

I expect David Axelrod is a pretty good judge of these things. After all, the Alinsky method is to trivialize and marginalize, to the degree possible, everything your opponent does, so to attach the adjective “terrible” to anything is immediately to dismiss its importance and effect.

Trouble is, Mr. Axelrod doesn’t have much leverage here. He is way on the short end of the stick, and though he strives mightily, he cannot shift much of anything. The now failing obama regime has begun to founder, as its last days draw nearer and nearer.

Like Nixon in 1974, it becomes impossible for the Current Occupant to assert believable authority, and without this aura of respectability, people begin to openly sneer and make disparaging remarks, becoming less and less guarded in their speech, and generally behaving like they want to get on to the next big thing.

In Shakespeare’s “Julius Caesar”, Brutus speaks,

“There is a tide in the affairs of men.
Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;
Omitted, all the voyage of their life
Is bound in shallows and in miseries.
On such a full sea are we now afloat,
And we must take the current when it serves,
Or lose our ventures.”

Obama may have missed the timing in assuring his place in history as being much more positive than the future historians shall see it.

Fantastic new Romney web ad: A Better Future

A great new inspirational web ad from the Romney campaign:

At the Republican National Convention, Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan outlined their plan for a stronger middle class and their vision for the future. They were joined by Republican leaders throughout the country who will join with them in restoring our nation. Working together, they are committed to securing the promise of America for the next generation.

Axelrod was mentored by two veteran communists/sympathizers, id. CPUSA member and refused to register Agent of a Foreign Power (Soviet Union), David S. Canter, and Don Rose, avowed “progressive” since the late 1940’s and supporter of Communist fronts and causes.

They even hired Axelrod to write for their extremely leftistt Kenwood-Oakwood-Hyde Park newspaper which featured CPUSA propaganda, starting with its first issue.

It is safe to call Axelrod at least a “Pink Diaper Baby.” With more evidence (interesting how things about his mother can’t be found), we might even be able to call him a “Red Diaper Baby.”

Either way, I also call him a total schmuck who looks like Hitler, sounds like Julius Streicker/Joseph Goebbels, and has the sanity of Charles Manson at dinner.

The Republican convention’s main theme was the economy and getting people jobs. Can anyone explain to me why illegal immigration was not addressed? Afterall America now houses aprroximately 20-40 million illegal aliens of whom at least half have taken American jobs.
