Mormonism is an anti-Christian religion and holds anti-Christian doctrines.
However, it is possible for Mormons to be Christian. You just can’t be a GOOD Mormon and Christian at the same time. But if they believe in Christ as their only savior from sin and that he rose from the dead in order to forgive them, they’re Christian, even if everything else they believe is wrong.
I won’t give any guesses on how MANY Mormons are really Christian; that’s God’s business, not mine. But whether there are thousands or none, they’re still worth praying for.
Instead of hating on Romney, it’d be better to pray that he comes to true saving faith in Jesus, and to pray for our leaders and our country.
“Instead of hating on Romney, itd be better to pray that he comes to true saving faith in Jesus, and to pray for our leaders and our country.”
This is really, though, what the defense of Mormonism and the push for normalization of a known religious cult is all about. It has nothing to do with the truth or the lie of a particular claim. It’s all politically based, and so you make the assumption it’s politically based for someone else. If Mitt Romney had been a Christian Scientist, those weirdos, instead, would be the ones getting accused of being Christians. And the other fellows on here, attacking me personally, would be singing apologetics for Mary Baker Eddy.
